hello ellen,
I do want to say how much I have grown to love your show and all the good things that you do for people and for the unwanted and unloved animals of the world. My request to you may seem like a strange one, but one from my heart to my mom. I am a miracle baby, my mother could not have children and then poof I was born. She has not had a great life, but she always had a great attitude and never says no to anyone in need. I couold ask for a better mother, she has never said a harsh word to me or hit me. She loves me unconditionally no matter how many mistakes that I have made in my life. I am 50 and she is 85, I am taking her on one last vacation with every penny I have, but that is not what I am writing to you about. i would love it if you could bring us to your show, so I can give her a big trophy stating that she is the best mom ever on national television, also she has one cousin that she wants to see before she dies that lives in our home town that I can't afford to send her to.But if you could help with the air fair and a hotel for weekend so she can see he I would be forever in your debt. The next time you come to Toronto, I would make you the best and biggest vegetarian dinner you ever had.
Your fan forever and gopefully a good friend.
Oh, By the way if you do decide to this, she can not know why she is coming. Thanks again for listening.
Hello Ellen,
I was considering writing to you about our finacial issues due to medical bills, for my husband and eldest child, but while watching your show on 11/18/2009 with my 10 year old daughter...we realized there was a greater need than ours.
My daughter Madelyn has a school project that is called "Challenge to Care", and is given $20 to grow for any orginization of her choice, Madelyn being a true animal lover chose the Humane Society of Oregon.
We realized these cats and dogs have far less than us, we have each other's love at least, reguardless of our financial situation.
So Madelyn contacted the local Humane Society and the item they need, more than anything else, is Food.
So she was wondering if you could match her $20 which will buy one bag of good quality food and if you could do more she would be very grateful.
From a future Veterinarian,
Madelyn Ducusin,
and Mom Roxanne
Hi Ellen is there a way to know if you really get this? Did you get a few other tweets about who we are. Praying and hoping that you will choose Dolls4Alzheimers as a dream that you would surprise with a gift http://www.dolls4alzheimers.com
Hi Ellen, I am a follower. Can't wait to see the cover of O featuring you with Oprah.
Ellen, I need your help, not for myself, although I have been ill for twelve years, somewhat recovered for the last 15 months. My husband, also ws laid off eleven years ago.
I need help for my aunt, not for us. she lives alone, in Cudahy CA, in a trailer court. She is ninety, losing her sight and hearing, but a strong willed individual who has no family oout there. My husband and I reside in KS and we are the only family that she looks to for help. I was contacted by the Maywood county police today, saying that her living conditions are ad, they have reported it to the Adult Protection Agency, and I understand.
I would just like help to clean her place for her as her helpers out there, are not doing an adequate job, she also needs an exterminator, I understand.
My husband and I are searching for reasonable airline tickets, so that we can go see if there is something we can do, but you are so wonderful about helping needy indiviuals, I thought I would write.
If her place is not cleaned up and living conditions improve, she will be pulled away from her independence, and her spirit will be broken.
She is showing slight signs of dementia and paranoia, but 99% of the time she is sharp, she feels a nursing home would kill her.
Can you help us as chronic daily migraines disabled me for over twelve years, and I don't wish to go back to the stress related condition.
We are senior citizens and I need to think of my husband and our elderly years.
thank you for being there each afternoon. You are a highlight in my day. Luv u, Carole
I am afraid time is of the essence as the Adult Protection Agency is gong to evaluate her home this week. Thank you, Ellen, whether this is a situation you find deemable or not and for
reading this.I know thereare many always souls worse off.
I'm sure you have heard the (I lost my dog stories) but I am certain you haven't heard one like this.
On Halloween night we took Jazmin with us to take my child and my brothers and sisters trick or treating. We always have Jazmin with us she is our child also. She got out of the car with the kids at the corner of walnut street and rennie street in Pauls valley, Oklahoma. Everyone told me she got out of the car so I told her to get back in which she did but in all the comotion of the kids and everyone yelling she got right back out. My family and I drove and walked the entire neighborhood until 2am that night and did not see her anywhere. My husband and I were back out at 7am the next morning and still no sign of her. I have been to Pauls Valley everyday except today to look for her. I have put out over 1,000 flyers for her. I put up flyers in all the surrounding towns also. I have had numerous people call me to tell me they are looking for her. I have had a few call me to tell me they have her but it wasn't her. I put ads in three newspapers and paid to have a lost my doggie phone message sent to 500 people in the neighborhood where I lost her. I contacted the police in Pauls Valley and the shelter with no luck. The whole town is looking for her I even stopped some people on the street to ask them about her and they would tell me they saw a flyer and got a text from a friend about her already. My question is would it be possible for my lost Jazmin story to be on your show cause I know alot of people watch you and whoever finds her will get a $500.00 reward. I have lost enough this year already. First mine and my husband's job then our truck got repoed two days before I went into the hospital to have my baby with all the preperation stuff in it. We are losing our house cause the job my husband has now don't make enough to pay for it anymore then a few weeks ago I lost my grandpa and now my Jazmin. I am devistated without her she means the world to me. I would give anything to get her home. She is a black mini schnauzer wearing a pink collar with her home number and address on it.

Do you ever help Animal Shelters? We have a local animal shelter that needs a heavy duty washer and dryer to wash the animals rugs e towels used in their cages. The city has no money to purchase these items and no local organizations have stepped forward with donations. The local animal shelter was run by a man that was abusive to the animals and was finally removed from his position. He has been replaced with a wonderful person who is trying to save the image of the shelter and making it a place where animals can be safe until a home is found. I know you can't help everyone, but your thoughts would be appreciated. I thank you for a great show, great guest and I look forward to the O'magazine in November. I will definitely buy a copy.

Ellen,
Any chance of you ever heading down to Key West? This is our 23 year of Womenfest Key West which runs from Sept 7 thur 13. It's a great time.. hopefully you'll come and join us, if not now maybe next year??
I have followed you ever since a friend tipped me to your sitcom back then, and I've gotta say that I'm a big fan. I was watching your talk show until a month ago when I computerized and hit the net, so now I follow your home page (I've totally forgotten that I have a TV). Anywaay, it's obvious to me that you have a lot of fun and enjoy what you do, especially with those hilarious contests. Keep on truckin', ellen, and may the Force be with you.
