ohh I don´t understand this hahah, did I have to write it again, I don´t even speak english well, damn.
I just saw the show a few days ago because in my country and I think in all South America the shows air two weeks after.
What I wanted to say is that this Diddy who the hell he think he is, and who the hell he thinks people are... stupids??? it was not pretty clear this guy punch that girl... Diddy says: you were not there, I wasn´t there... so let´s pray for them, that´s bullshit, where are the prays when men decided to hit women, where is the god of those women that suffer attack, what are we teaching???, what happen with men, with kids that see those kind of things from their idols and nothing happen to them, he must go to jail, if not this all big thing is going to translate in a wrong message to kids, to men, to women, really... to everybody. I just red in some pages that there are kids that think and say: she deserve that punch... come on, wrong message
Ellen if you didn´t know how to handle the matter you shouldn´t ask, I spected more from you in this delicate matter... but maybe you have your own reasons... it sounds extrange... you aren´t like a human rights defender.. also was extrange when you said thanks for answer those questions like 3 times, like you were apologizing for ask...
But I support you, I really believe you´re a great person... best wishes and take care
hey you didn´t post my comment, what´s wrong?, you only post really nice comments?.. like you´re the best Ellen... yeah I think that, but I can put more staff, no? just sharing
P Diddy must have money tied up with Chris Brown. Publicly supporting him is disgusting and an insult to women. As if we are all not quite sure that Chris Brown assaulted Rhanna. No matter what she said to him it was not ok for him to beat her. That picture of her face shows what rage this Chris Brown has in him.
Personaly I have always felt P Diddy did not connect well with women or have a great respect for them. He just alwasy rub me the wrong way. These comments sealed the deal.
I was so sorry to learn that Sean Combs was even getting air time on Ellen. Ellen, you were 2000% right that to be concerned that Rihanna and ALL other women young and old understand that they should never, ever, ever tolerate being hit or beaten. Never, ever. If you're hit/beaten once, it will happen again, the next time worse. In a lot of ways, we have "come a long way, Baby", but I'm depressed that the past generation of women didn't pass self respect and esteem to this present one. Women shouldn't come from "Oh, it's my fault. I made him mad. I don't want to break up with him." Instead come from, "I have value and NO ONE should EVER treat me that way." It's NOT OK to do that to me.
Sean Combs and Chris Brown need to go away. The public should not tolerate and protect their violent actions. There's nothing to defend about them. Women need to unite and say stop the violence. It's just basic human rights.
Hellllllooooooo Ellen!!
How ya doing???
I looked for ya on Twitter today and tonight and the only "Ellen Degeneres" I found has no picture, no entries and only a little over 13,000 followers. Is that yours? Don't wanna be following a poser! LOL!!
Have a super day!!
Sadie
Saw the interview w/Puff Daddy, P.Diddy, my only comment is, if he didn't want to interfere, then why did he invite both of them to his home in Florida, just stay out of it, cuz we know he ain't got no clean hands in relationship to how he treats his "women". It's pathetic to try to make excuses for horrible behavior on both Rihanna & Chris', silly, stupid, immature way of handlin socalled luv relationships between a teenager & a 20 year old. Shame on all of them!
Ellen I love your show. I signed up for twitter and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you for making me laugh even when I don't want to. Girlfriend you are just sooooo funny.
Personally I don't think Ellen should have made a big deal about it with Diddy. He is entitled to his opinion, and yes Abuse is wrong regardless if a man hits a woman or if a woman hits man. But there is a time and place for everything and I dont belive on air was a good time for Ellen to defend Rianna, because of a comment made by Diddy. I think Ellen handled it well.
Ellen,
Shame on you for not doing more. Shame on you for having this guy, P. Diddy on your show and allowing him to state indirectly that it's ok to hit women. He called it a "situation" and it's not. It was ABUSE. Why on earth would you have this guy on? You made one little comment about it and then went on with the interview. Shame on you for not supporting the millions of women who are victims of domestic abuse every day. This is an epidemic and you just brushed over it. You did more to keep domestic abuse in the dark than anyone could have. Their is shame and humilation after being abused. Yet you had someone on your show that supports abusers. If people like you don't speak out, who will? I guess Oprah is the show I will support from now on. I expected more from you, Ellen. Shame on you.
I love your show and thank diddy he was honest straight foward and he is 100% correct nobody knows what happened between rihanna and chris brown people are so quickly to judge have no one ever made a mistake.
Didn't Diddy broke Kim Porter's nose when she was pregnant? How can he offer any advise to either of these young people. Further, what was his commission facilitating the meeting with the two of them.
It isn't right for any man to hit a woman it isn't right for the world to make rihanna the face of battered woman am sure she never asked to be an advocate for battered woman. Let her live her life the way she wants to. As for diddy he was rite for saying wat he said why should he throw chris in a hole. Let the one that has no fault throw the first stone. Leave them alone
I was not in the car with Rhianna and Chris Brown either. But when is it right to not only hit a woman but beat her bloody? Why is no one taking a stand on this?
Here in Chicago, most of the Sean Combs comments regarding Brown vs Rihanna were "silent" no sound during most of the segment, both on the local and HD stations, only the tail end was audible - WHY?
With reference to "twittering": Stephen Fry's Twitter feed is the world's second most popular, pipped at the post by one Barack Obama - so I don't think this guy is the no.1 guy on Twitter right now! eejit.
Hey Ellen!
I loved the Diddy episode today! I wanted throw out a suggestion for your show. I think it would be really funny if you had a "little Diddy" or even a "little Ellen" dancing in the corner of the screen during certain times of the show. Like, during games for example. You could even put other celebrity guests who dance before your interviews in "the corner"!
You're show is awesome! My daughter and I love to dance during your show. Can't wait to see Portia!
Nicky :)
