Oh, Ellen. How I wish you would make it possible for international viewers to email you. :( We adore you over here in Australia. There's so many things I want to say and send to you!

Pretty please with a cherry on top? And chocolate syrup, and nuts, and whipped cream, and crushed Oreos, and anything else you want on your Pretty Please Let Us Aussies Communicate With You Sunday!

Sweetly,
Laura Bishop - New South Wales, Australia

Ellen -
Whenever I have a lull between contracts, I watch your show and see how much you mean to so many.I SO enjoy you, and your crew and hope I get to see the show live sometime...
I wish more people who have the good fortune to be in the spotlight would spread laughter and kindness with the spirit in which you do! I hope you never get tired of the compliments.
I love your new look (I have been watching Ellen since the 80's man, that's right) It's the best yet - almost boyish and truly sparklingly beautiful! (is it married life that looks so good on you?)

Hey Ellen!!!!!
You're awsome!!! I don't know if you have herd of Tokio Hotel, they are a German Rock band! The BEST EVER!!!! I really think you should have them on your show!!! I know for sure that your ratings will totally be even bigger than they are now. Why??? Because they are THE WORLD'S BEST BAND, and they sing in English too!!! They actually won VMAs Best New Artist 2009!!! Yeyyyyy!!!! They will be releasing their new CD soon, if you have them over can I come to your show?!!!!! I live in San Diego, you don't have to fly me over or nothing!!! Anyway, at least listen to "Monsoon" or "scream" or "ready set go!" or actually just listen to all their songs, they are AWSOME and YOU ARE AWSOME and that = SUPER AWSOMENESS!!!

ELLEN!

Hi. First of all you are so funny and fun! Makes me laugh out loud. Anywho....you are always making peoples dreams come true. And I need help with mine. I am going to graduate from college for Interior Design and I love the show Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Everytime I watch it I cry because they are doing such nice things to help families in need. But I cant figure out how to get a job on that show, I dont want the spotlight job, just to be involved in any way, even vacuuming the carpet would be my dream job. If you could figure out a way to hooook me up that would be sweet!

Dont stop the funny stuff.

Hey Ellen!!!

OMG I lOVe you!!!!! geez im so excited to even be writing to you that im all over the place!!!hehe

Im from Melbourne Australia and we have over the past2 weeks had the worst bush fires that this state has ever had....I am a mother of 2 and a volunteer fire fighter so i have been in this disaster zone and seen how thousands of people have been displaced from their homes and hundreds have lost their lives!!

I know that you are not an Aussie on paper but you are just as Aussie as the rest of us with your giving nature to humanity. I have seen the fantastic effort and lengths you go to to help people in need with your quirky games and fabulous fundraising efforts.

You are well known around the world and i write to you in the hope that may be because people love you so much you might take a little itsy bitsy time out of your very busy life to help out all of the Victorian Bushfire Survivors from Black Saturday as we are all calling it now.

Anything you do would greatly help....a fundraiser would be awesome but if not possible even if you could just dedicate some of your funky dancing to the Victorian Bushfire Victims im sure it would bring alot of joy into their lives to know that they are not alone!!!!!

Take care Chick and Hope to see ya bustin some moves for the Bushfire Survivors!!

Love ya lots
Luti

Hi Ellen, I watch your show all the time with my husband...we really look forward to it....my Mom who is going to be 95 on 2/26th, she also likes your show and watches it every day....I keep telling her your Mom is in the audience somewhere .....she has not seen her yet. Just was wondering if you could send her an email wishing her a happy birthday. Her name is CATHERINE and she will be 95 on 2/26th. She lives with my sister: send to: bnjim@msn.com
or 8512 S. Keating, Chicago IL 60629

Thanks Ellen, she will get a big bang out of it, she loves your show so much.

Hi Ellen,

I saw you perform live in Syracuse, NY back in 2003. I| had a ton of fun listening to you do your act live. Unfortunately, I was unable to see a lot of the things you were doing on stage due to my visual impairment. I did buy your DVD, but it wasn't the same as seeing you live. I get put down everyday, because of my impairment by a certain family member. It doesn't help me much that I have other health issues on top of it that prevents me from working. I know how much you love music. That is one thing that you and I have in common. I learned how to play the guitar when I was about 10 years old. I wanted to learn how to play, because of this person who played at the church I was attending when I was 4 years old. I wanted to be just like her when I grew up, because her and I share the same first name. I finally found her through email to tell her how she inspired me to take up the guitar. One thing that I would like more is to see her in person again. I don't know if that will ever happen. She lives in Portland, OR, and I live in the Syracuse, NY area. I don't have the money to go out there to see her.

Have a great day Ellen. Thanks for becoming a comedian and having your own talk show.

Sincerely,

Rosanne D. Leone

Hey Ellen
By the way I love your show. The other day I was watching and I heard you make a comment about how smart black and white cats are. Well I have a 16 pound long haired black and white cat named bam-bam. He is very smart. I don't know if he thinks he is a dog but he fetches a ball just like one. I throw the ball and he runs it and brings it back to me and lays it at my feet for me to throw it again. He will do this for about 30 minutes until he gets so tired he has to take a nap, but he loves to do this. He also is very picky about his food and water and if he thinks his water is not fresh enough he will wait for me to come into the kitchen and he'll jump up on the counter where the sink is and put his paw on the cold water tap. This is to let me know I am slacking on his fresh water. I have had bam-bam for seven years we rescued him from the local animal shelter and he is such a caring and loving animal. Animals are so great they love us unconditionally, no matter what. Thanks Ellen your love for animals shows that you are a very caring person.

Ellen,
Liam is a young boy from Canada who dreams of meeting you. This boy has so much integrity. Im sure you know that he has created a group on facebook in hopes to beat your fan base and meet you. Well Liam has also touched many lifes deeply, most of the lifes he has touched he doesn't even know. Ellen I hope you make this young man's dreams come true and invite him as a guest on your show. It would not only bring a smile to my day or an extra bounce in my step, but you would make Liam's dream come true. Please Ellen, you know its the right thing to do!

Hey Ellen, Guess what?
My mail lady looks just like you. I want to ask her if i can take her picture and send it to you, but I don't want her to be offended or say no! What do YOU think I should do?
Tracy from Loves Park, Illinois

Folks, Gladys Hardy is NOT REAL. I see nothing funny in a man pretending to be an 88-year-old woman and who uses a SCRIPT. How is this funny? Yes, it would be funny if Gladys was really an 88-year-old woman, but HE ISN'T. Shame on you Ellen for duping your viewers. Gladys Hardy DOES NOT EXIST. I have checked and so have the newspaper reporters I contacted in Austin.

Ellen - today (2/20/09) on the Oprah Show, at the end of the show about the Oscars, a lady from the Humane Society of Missouri came on & shared the deplorable conditions they've experienced with a puppy mill in Missouri. There were 90+ Yorkies & if you go to their website, you can see a video of the conditions - just heartbreaking, to say the least! I was thinking that maybe you can donate some of your food to help them with these Yorkies, which are up for adoption. Some of the animals lost the use of their back legs because their hair was so long that it cut off the blood circulation & I suppose that those will be put down. It's just so heartbreaking, I can't even imagine anyone doing such a thing to a poor innocent creature. Anyway, I just thought that maybe you can help the Humane Society of Missouri with some of your wonderful pet food, which surely will help them. They are also asking for donations & I think that your wholesome pet food would really help rehabilitate these animals.
Sincerely & totally heartbroken from this...Vikkie Collazo

Hey Ellen- I know you have a French Bulldog and like the 'Frog Dogs' so I wanted to share a picture of our new litter of Frenchies! They are so cute and sweet. Our Frenchie's name is Gypsee Rose she is very pretty so we wanted to have one litter of puppies before we had her spayed. I cant attach a picture here so check them out on

Hi Ellen-
I was watching your show yesterday and I saw the segment you had with Aaron Carter and I was hoping he would talk a little bit more about the horrible disease he has called cardiomyopathy. You see, my brother, John was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy almost 2 years ago and has been waiting for a new heart since then. He's been inpatient at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY for almost a year waiting for his new chance at life.
I wish you knew my brother, he is an inspiration. His spirit and love is unbelievable. Just ask anyone that's come in contact with him and they'll tell you how much he's helped other patients on his floor by keeping up their spirits and getting them motivated to stay fit while they, too wait for their 2nd chance at life.
When I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 14 years ago, he was there to cheer me on and keep my chin up. He did the same with my sister when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor 2 years ago.
I get frustrated that he has yet to get a new heart and I wish more people were willing to donate their organs after they have passed on.The lack of donated organs is ridiculous...
We are having a fundraiser for my brother in April because his medical bills are reaching the $1 million mark and whatever we can do to help we are going to do.
I was hoping you'd be able to donate something, anything, that we can raffle off at the benefit. If you are interested (I'm sure you get alot of people wanting donations), please contact me. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
Love you!

Ellen!
You have no idea the good things you have done for SO many people!
In the way you deliver your hilarious jokes!
In coming out the way you did!
In the way that you have helped New Orleans and many others!

Bless ya!

-Ken

Dear Ellen,
I felt compelled to write you because of your incredible love for the animals, also because you give me and the world, one of the best gift there is, the gift of laughter.
The stories you bring to the world continue to inspire me to do my part and be the voice of the animals who cannot speak for themselves.
Animals are what my life revolves around.
I love my dogs more than anyone can imagine. When I lost a dear canine friend, “Kashmir”, years ago, it was harder than anything I’ve ever had to deal with. I kept her ashes but never did anything with them until recently.
I recently started making “memory stones” with fused glass. I take a small bit of ashes from a pet or loved one and fuse them permanently in a personally designed pendant, pocket stone etc… It is beautiful way to keep the memories of your loved pet close to your heart.
I hope I can help ease others pain, as having my pet’s ashes in a pendant close to me at all times has eased mine. You can see photos of my memory stones at www.myspace.com/memorystonesbyjodi and just click on “my pics.”
I do donate a portion of all my proceeds to the West MI SPCA. It is a local wildlife sanctuary that houses wolves, horses, deer, bears and any other animals that are in need.
I’ve also helped our by taking extra duck orphans and rehabbing them to the wild.
Recently a few of my animal loving friends have rallied together to get a “Pet Pantry” started. With our economy being what is , we are hoping this will give families who are having hard times a way to keep there pets and not have to surrender them to a shelter because they cannot afford to feed them.
If everyone gave as much as you do every week on your show the world would be a better place.
Thank you so much for all you do for the animals!!!!!!!!! I so love your show and what you do for so many animal charities.
If anytime you ever have the unfortunate experience of losing a beloved pet, I would like to make you a memory stone to help keep their memory close. I would do this at no charge, but as gift to you for all the joy you give everyday to the world.
Sending you peace and love for all you do,
Jodi Jarvis-Therrian
