Hi Ellen, My name is Teresa and I live in Hamersville, Ohio. It's a tiny little town outside Cincinnati. We don't even have a stoplight. My soon to be 4 yr old daughter Emily (her birthday is January 27th)and I watch your show everyday. I just want to say that you are such an inspiration and if everyone of us showed the kindness that you do towards other people that this world would be a much better place. I would also like to ask you if you would mind giving Gladis a call to see what she has been up to. She's hillarious. Thanks so much and Happy New Year!

ELLEN, My name is Amy I live in a very small town in SouthWeast Minnesota. I have e-mailed you before but tonight I got home and thought about everthing you stand for and do (like making my husband realy like you even though you are not the type of person he would) this is what is so funny I went shopping with my girl-friend today my husband knows she's gay so he was't jelous as he normally would be. You know after 20 years I think I have changed him to color race sextual prefrece. I mean everthing. Like I said our town is only 443 population. I don't want gifts or any of that I just think if you read my e-mail on TV. It could awakin a few others(especilly in my small community. I LOVE YOU ELLEN KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!!!!

I tape your show every day so that I will never miss and episode, today you said that you were watching u-tube about the swimming dolphins, and thought it was beautiful. Well if you thught that was beautiful....
do yourself a favor ( and i hope everyone reading this will also) watch the video on u- tube called "Christian The Lion" make sure you watch the one that you have to read also (Celine Dion is singing in the background) so that you get the whole beautiful story, I have watched this video 5 times and cried 5 times, not out of saddness but out of Joy, it is the most touching story I have ever read,
thank you Margo Grzymski
P.S. Happy birthday

Hi Ellen ,
I only get to watch you on Friday because the time frame.I go to work at 3p.m and you come on at 4 p.m.Friday is my day off .I am always at home at that time since I only see you once a week. I LOVE YOU AND THE SHOW. Keep up the wonderful things you do. I have been to the studio and each time I have gone home with wonderful stuff. This time I missed the 12 days by one day.Hope to hit it next time.

Ellen, Hi I love your show it is up lifting every chance I get to see it. I wanted to write to you and tell you that you inspire me! I think you should do a show for all the married people in the world that got married at a young age and let them discuss how they have made it. I think relationships are not looked at having to try real hard at them now days. I have been married for 34 years since I was 14 and he was 19 to the same man and have went on to get my Masters degree and have done foster care for teenagers for almost thrity years. We have one birth son and have adopted two children a boy and girl. We have raised my sister three children. I work two full time jobs and try and keep our sanity. Maybe we have been so busy we have not had time to think about divorce haha. I know that this may not be the most interesting topic but I think young people need to see that there are families that have values to work hard at there relationships and what can be accomplished especially into days world. We have hard times and continue everyday to give what we can to those that need guidance. I did not come from a family that had all the oppurtunity but chose a better life for those around me. My father was an alcholic and my mother was co-dependent. I really work on teaching values to the kids that we get to be able to make choices for themseleves to work hard and they can do anything if they try. Spelling is not best accomplish in life but I have plenty of others so please forgive the missed spelled words.

How about a Blast from the Past show with all the Italian stallions of my era!? Frankie Avalon, Fabian, Bobbie Rydell, James Darren, Paul Anka (Italian?) and of course Tony Bennedetto!! This could be a week long show that would stir my pot of pasta!!

I love watching you, your energy is contagious and at 63, (this past Christmas 08), I need all I can get...energy, that is!!

My prayers to Annette Funicello whose "goomba", Frankie and old friend Paul may have some insight into her condition.

Hi Ellen:

Me and my husband watch your show every day. My husband chuckles and I know he is touched when you give away gifts for everyone. I know it is not the norm to say Happy Birthday on your show but I am wondering if you would say "Happy Birthday" from your daughter Debbie to my Mom (Wildreth Burnell) on August 28th. That's a long way away but thought I would start asking now. She will be 76 year's old and she just loves you. You make her laugh so much and she never misses your show. I live in Florida and she lives in Maine. We get to visit about once a year or so together but of course it's not enough. That would be the best birthday she has ever had.
Thanking you in advance,
Debbie

I just wanted to express my highest respect for the fact that you guys chose not to respond about The Travolta's loss.. Whether it be intentional or not I was so glad to see that you didn't because the media is making such a mess out of it.. That is why I love love love watching you.. You seem to be a truly genuine, decent, kind person.
Well enough sappy talk..
Thanks for making me laugh.

Hi Ellen,

I just think your show is wonderful and was wondering why you haven't had Mia Kirshner on to talk about her book "I Live Here". It's such a beautiful and inspiring book ands that's right up your alley. Please read this book and decide for yourself. You will feel it deep in your heart.

Debbie

Hi Ellen,
I've been a huge fan ever since your days of being a stand up comic. I try never to miss any of your shows even though I seem to be a minority among your fans. Your audience is mainly pretty woman with a few men scattered here and there. That's Ok because everyone seems to be having a great time and they all seem to love you as I do.
You not only bring laughter and joy to so many but I admire all the good you do in raising money for so many worthy causes.
Keep up the good work.
Dan

Hi Ellen!!
I want to thank you for putting a smile on my face as well as millions of other people! I watched you give all the gifts from the 12 days of giveaways to the family in MA today and I cried!! I'm such a sap! I just think it's wonderful that someone in these hard times is able and more than happy to make people's dreams come true! You're such a beautiful person and stand up for what you believe in! My 4 yr old daughter Kylie and i dance to your show every day! She tells me that she wants a coffee table like yours so she can dance over it too, so cute! Keep on keepin' on and one of these days our "ELLEN JAR" will be full and we're coming to your show!! Can't wait! Just thank you for making me laugh when i need it and giving to people who need it(ESPECIALLY those in New Orleans and California). You're so inspirational! Happy New Year and Happy Early Birthday Ma' Lady!!
Oh P.S. Keep me posted on when the sexiest man ALIVE is coming on your show so i can get tickets! That would be Gerard Butler by the way! Haha have a wonderful day! Hope to see you sooner than later! Happy 2009! Sincerely an inspired viewer! ~jenn bone pensacola, florida
