Hey, Ellen, I noticed that you seem to think that black and white cats smarter than regular cats. I'm not a biologist but am fascinated by genes and such. I found out that many of the animals that are black and white (cows,dogs,etc) seem to have the same trait. In fact, in Siberia, a 'scientist' who works at a fur company decided to breed only the red foxes that were not ferocious or aggressive to humans. Within a few generations, the foxes behaved more like dogs, and they turned black. My guess is that an animal that is tamer is more likely to survive around humans. As well, since the animal doesn't have to worry so much about survival instincts or hunting, their brain has room for more pedestrian routines - in other words, since my person feeds me and cares for me, I can focus on things like opening doors or getting that toy out of that box.
This is a guess, but it seems to go with everything I've learned.

hey there, i think the person that Ellen is talking to in that photo is Will Smith. I watched that show. I've been a die-hard fan of this show for so long. The only thing that sucks is most of the contests you hear about on the show are only open to the United States and Puerto Rico. What's up with that!

I really like you show. I would really like to see the guys on "Big Bang Theory" Sometimes I can't watch all for your show because I have to pick up my granddaughter who has to be picked up at 3:45pm so I miss nearly half of your show. I can't get my VCR to work. My son-in-law has the thing to record, but being 70 and because he has put so much on it I can't figuar out how to get in it. I tried to see the interview you did with Dustin Hoffman, but being 70 I couldn't figuar out how to do it. When I can't figuar out how to do something I tell the my family it is because I'm old and infirmed, but as you can guess they really don't believe it. I need a new excuse. Can you give me one. I live in Fort Worth, Texas. And love to do the daily paper crosswords, so I take two papers a day, for the crosswords and the funnies. I scan the news.
