Haha, I seriously doubt Ellen even reads these things, so I'll just say Portia is HOT, HOT, HOT, nulli secundus! Holy-crap, I was so shocked to hear she was...erm rather, is gay (but kinda turned on a bit too when I ruminated on it later!). It was after watching Ally McBeal years ago, that I said she was hot and my brother suddenly turned to me and blurted out: "Yeah, but she's gay!" It was like an electric shock; I could not believe that such a gorgeous woman could be gay, since my previous impression of lesbians was that they're particularly unpleasant to look upon. You are truly the funniest person I know! I was hysterical laughing today when you talked about the re-gifted birthday gifts. My daughter's birthday is Jan. 26th and she will be 26. The re-gifts are sooooooooooo true and sooooooo funny!

2008 was the worst year of my life,well started in 2007 with a layoff,then 1 month later after my benefits were gone I FELL while walking/running with my dog and dislocated my shoulder and have not been same since.I am 52 and feel like I am 72
72 at least body wise.My husband and I were renting and then we became so overrun with mice we had to move out.(Lousy Landlord).Let's see in Sept this year my car was totaled and I got a whole 2500.00 for it after buying it new in
2004 and paying 20,000 on it but still owed.We
are now living with our Mini Dachshund in a
Motel BUT through all of this I have watched
you and LAUGHED so hard I cry.I too keep kleenex very close by at all times.I love you and think
you are about the nicest person on this earth.

I have always been a fan but until recently never really had a chance to enjoy you every day. I have recently gone through a horrible time in my life. You see on November 18th, 2008 I lost my job with a timber company. As tragic as that was it doesn't hold a candle to what I lost 4 days later on November 22nd. That is the night that I lost my mom. She had breast cancer but no one could've guessed that she was near the end. I am an only child and lost my dad suddenly 17 years ago. My dad died right after Christmas and my mom right before thanksgiving. If it weren't for your wonderful humor during these past several weeks I could not have managed even a smile. So I just wanted to thank you so much for all of the smiles!!! You are the BEST!!!! Hugs... Tammie

Last year, while I had to spend 3wks in a skilled nursing facilty for rehab. Your show comes one at 3pm here and when you walk down any hallway or pass any of the lounge rest area... if there is a tv on your voice can be heard through out the whole building. My own room was directly across the accessment room. When they would hear your show come on, they asked me to turn it up raally loud so they to could also you enjoy your show. You, touch millions of people everyday. I don't need to tell you that. But, It was such a joy to see all the elderly people especailly with those who no longer have no one could comes and visit them anymore, though that is sad in itself. Knowing each day that when you are on, how many smiles you bring to their faces. It just made you feel good inside. I thought you would like to know that. When you dance, often you see the people sitting in their wheelchairs move along with you. Keep up the good work. You bring alot of joy and happiness .

You always make my day! I am a S.A.H.M. (Stay At Home Mom!) I hurry with my 'Job' everyday so I am available for the most important part of my day, 'Time with Ellen'!!!
One day Congress will passa bill, so that everyone has to watch your show! Laughter is the best medicine, so on that note, I record your show and have all my kids watch it when they are not feeling well! I know it works cause by 10am they are ready to go back to school! I just want to say thanks to Ellen for making me smile and laugh even on a bad day. I look so forward to seeing her shows even if I do have to watch it when I get home from work. She gives so much to us viewers. I wonder if she has any plans in the near future of having Portia on her show? I know we would all enjoy seeing her. Times are rough in todays world so having her in our living rooms is an enjoyment. She gives to make people happy which is something we all wish we could do. Keep up the great show!
