Hi Ellen! MY names brianna and i want very badly to win a gift from one of your 12 days of giveaways. I tried but haven't won yet. I'm still keeping my hopes up along with my mom who had a stroke last year and lost some of her vision. Resulting in she could barely see and we can't really go out to the movies or hang out how we use to, and on top of that my dad has lost his job. So it's been really hard for us lately but we're hanging in the and doing the best we can. I still keep going and never have my faith break and praying for my mom's vision to come back. Not only was it hard for them but for me to. I was never in my life expecting to have this kind of thing happen to me and my family. But my mom's a strong faithful women,Also my dad's a strong faithful man. Seeing them being faithful makes me want to keep smiling and im thankful to have them, the best parents anyone can ever have. Ellen i see you on t.v. and from what i see you are a wonderful person inside out! I love your show. My mom, dad, and watch all the time everyday at 5 p.m. I truly hope that you pick me. Thank for being one of those wonderful celebs that helps others and give back!!
I TRULY HOPE YOU PICK TO WIN A GIFT FROM YOUR 12 DAYS OF GIVEAWAYS CONTEST!!
-BRIANNA

Dear Ellen,
I would love for you to send the 12 days of Christmas gifts to my Army buddy and best friend Sheila who has really been a blessing to me for the past year while I was unemployed. I am a single mom and a Veteran as well who is still struggling financially because, I have only been able to secure part time employment and of course my car was repossed so, it's kind of hard to try to get around at present and look for another job. However, it's only because of her generosity that me and my son have been able to keep a roof over our heads. Sometimes saying "Thank You" doesn't seem like it's enough but, hopefully you can send her the gifts and that will show her how much I really appreciate all that she has done for us. I know she is a huge fan and this would really brighten her day.

Thanks for all that you do and keep up the good deeds.

Dear Ellen, Just want to thank you for putting a little laughter back in our life. We are experiencing some tragic times at the moment here in Australia.
In Townsville, Queensland, the northern state, where I live we have been having 4" to 6" of rain every 24hrs for the last 3wks, 60% of the state is flooded (that would equal about 5% of USA), our towns have been isolated, with food supplies cut off.
In the southern state, Victoria, we have major wildfires with 181 lives lost, expected to be over 300 when all areas have been searched, and 750 homes destroyed, so far 130,000 hectares have been burnt and the fires are still going.
There is nothing we can do except donate money, which we have done, we are shocked and shaken by it all, all our TV channels are running constant updates. Depression is starting to set in, however being able to watch your show has lifted our hearts, even though its just an hour it reminds us life will get back to normal. I wonder if you realise just how much sunshine you bring into peoples lives. Best wishes, the Rolfe family.

You can still do this and if so hope I win something.

Vicky

Hi Beautiful!
Reading other comments I noticed most (really all) werw posted by women. So I hope men are also allowed to make comments. My life right now isn't all that exciting (retired, homebody, you can guess) except for 4:00 each afternoon when I watch your show. When I was very young my mother would always say "kah kah" when she didn't want me to touch something nasty...where did your "kahh kahh kahhhh" originate?
I really admire your concern and love for animals..it says volumes about a person's character. Me and my partner of almost 26 years have had pound dogs in the past and right now we have two whippits; Butchie (Summerwinds Shooting Star) who is almost 15 years old and Spencer (Who Wouldn't Want To Be Me) who is almost three. Vet bills for the older one, who has cushings disease, are high, but he is doing well and the expense is well worth it. No one should have a pet of any kind unless the are willing to love them and give them the best care they can. We thank you for all you do to help animals.
By the way, I miss "What Ellen Had To Eat" in your web sight...I am on a restricted diet and I like to get ideas from you.
Take Care and I'll laugh with you again tommorow at 4:00PM - is it a date?
Your ever thankful fan,
Billy S.

Hello Ellen,

My 17-year-old daughter and I are fans of your show. There is no episode that we can recall that didn't make us laugh. You bring so much joy to others, sharing your blessings with others in need, while at the same time you entertain a lot of people from all over the world. Ah, the wonder of cable tv. We wish to thank you for being the person that you are: funny but can be serious, kind-hearted, talented, and generous. We pray that all the good deeds you do for others be given back to you in the form of continued blessings of good health, good luck and happiness. We hope to be able to watch your show in person someday, and experience the exhilleration that is very apparent from the looks and enjoyment in the faces of your audience. Again, thank you and God bless you and your loved-ones always! More power to you and all the people behind and responsible for the success of your show!
