Dear Ellen,
You make my day. You did so well on the QVC show today, you crack me up. You help me get through my days. I'm having a hard time right now with a car accident situation that I was hurt in and I suffer everyday. I have so many permanenant injuries because of it. But, to watch you dance makes me smile to watch you well, it's just like making me have something to be happy again for. I hope you get plenty of sells on your Halo. Thanks for making me laugh and giving me some helpful tips.

Yes, but I will have you know that I got pulled over and decided not to take to Sobriety test because my best friends mother is a federal judge. In New Orleans you never take the test because they are the one city that does not show records and they are as corrupt as possible.

Dear Ellen: Thanks for being a great advocate for animal care. I love animals, have 2 cats & 1 dog (all rescued)I purchased the Halo products for them & also for my niece's puppy so she can start her life very healthy. It's amazing how people even though they love their animals, do not know the danger of feeding them the junk food available in the markets. Thanks again for reminding us to take care of our pets, it's just a little in return for their incredible unconditional love.

Hi Ellen...Three of your MOST loyal fans, who have been trying to come to see you for years and years... and years...(We used to live in NYC and tried many times for those hard-to-get tickets...we missed you in Central Park w/JT, but after hours of waiting at the Time/Warner studio at Columbus Circle, we again, got turned away... for even the NYC/Riff-Raff Room... so, we did get very close...but still no Ellen!) We moved to California, two years ago, just to be closer to our good friend Ellen...(You really do seem like our good friend...it's just the way you make us feel...and you seem to do that, better than anyone else)...We even voted NO on CA/Prop 8...not just for you and Portia, but because it was the right thing to do... we really hope everyone re-thinks this issue... Marriage, and basic human rights should be available to everyone, equally...Anyway...back to my original "rant"...After, carefully, filling out the ticket request page on your website (for well over the 50th time) including the well designed "SPECIAL NEEDS" drop down box...where I clicked on the "VISUALLY IMPAIRED" bar, and finished the form...(there is no bar for "SERVICE DOG" but I presumed that a service dog would be covered by the "SPECIAL NEEDS" designation on your ticket request form). A few weeks later, we had an invitation, by phone, for one of your Vegas shows...riff-raff room "confirmed"... televised studio audience, standby. Justin/Jason/Josh (or one of those twenty-something "J" names) was very nice, and mentioned that he could arrange for confirmed tickets in LA, since he knew we'd be coming from San Diego to Vegas...and that it would be better for us, since we had the service dog. When our tickets arrived, the word "STDBY" was on the top of our letter, but we were not going to complain...we were happy, just to come see you...even in the riff-raff room. Last Monday (12JAN09),when I called to say that our two friends would not be coming, so as to allow for your staff to make the spots available to someone else, I reminded your staff that we would be coming with my wife's service dog. We were greeted by Courtney from your staff when we arrived. She knew who we were, right away, and seemed to be expecting us. We were very pleased until she said that we could not go show...not even the riff-raff room because we had not given two weeks notice for the dog. WE WERE SHOCKED!!! Not only had we given THE ELLEN SHOW two weeks notice, it was well over two months, since I had informed your show of our special needs in your online form! We had discussed the service dog with your staff regarding the Vegas show. I wish I could say that Courtney was sweet about it...but she wasn't...matter-of-fact and uncaring would accurately describe her behavior. Ellen, my wife, Betty, was so disappointed after we were not allowed in... she made your on air "cryathon" over your hairdresser's returned dog, look tame in comparison. By the way, while waiting for Ellen tickets to come through, your website offers tickets to Bonnie Hunt's Show (we do love her too!). Of course, we got those tickets, right away, and we've been to three of her shows in the last few months...While we've been to "0" Ellen shows, after trying for years...(And yes, it will take you years to read this blog...but tuff, you and your not-so-sweet, Courtney, deserve to have to read this long, tortuous, rant!!!). Bonnie and ALL of her staff could not have been more gracious...they all loved Lucy... and there was no mention of two week notice, ever...(Bonnie's show uses the same or similar online form for tickets). Ellen, you are the last person that I thought would ever turn away a dog (otherwise known as a little person in a furry suit AND your most loyal fan)...I must tell you that the Amercans with Disabilities Act, allows Lucy to go with my wife anywhere, even the Ellen show...the law allows it. So, we must conclude that you need the two weeks to make things extra special for us. Maybe you need that extra time to reconstruct the "Mom's Special Box Throne/Chair" (that your mom wouldn't sit in)...but was available for "special guests"...that would be nice... Really Ellen, this is more of a genltle reminder that we still love you, (but NOT that "Evil Courney")... and that we'll be there to FINALLY see you on February 9th with great expectations...and, hopefully, just a friendly "HELLO" from you...and who knows, maybe we'll bring our "other" good fiend (you know, other than you)...George (Clooney), when we come...XOXOX...Ric, Betty, and Lucy...your VERY loyal fans.

We love your show, we are also big animal lovers. My eldest daughter Sara works in a Vet clinic. Wish they could use you halo foods there. Sounds amazing.

Commercial dog food contains dead pets, mostly euthanized cats and dogs!

The city of Los Angeles alone, sends some two hundred tons of euthanized cats and dogs to a pet food plant every month.
As for what is listed as "lamb" or "chicken", the AAFCO allows the rendering plant to call whatever the dominant amount of animal is in that run. Say, for example, that 20% of a run consisted of lamb parts, 15% chicken parts, 15% beef parts, 15% cat and dog carcasses, 15% grocery store refuse, 10% roadkill and 10% waste kitchen grease, that run can be legitimately called "lamb".

... things like flea collars, metal tags, plastic bags, pesticide ear tags from cattle, and the Styrofoam and wrappings from bad grocery store meat all get thrown into the grinder. This is also not to mention the quantities of Sodium Phenobarbital in the bodies of euthanized animals.

The true horror is the drug used to kill these stray and abandoned animals, Sodium Pentobarbital, is not broken down by the manufacturing process and is still present in active form in your dog's food!!

And dog food companies don't stop with pets, your dog is also eating euthanized animals from zoos, animal control and putrid, decaying road kill.

Just wanted to ask when you're gonna invite Charice Pempengco again. I've seen her in the Oprah show after she appeared at your show, I also saw her on TV with Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Celine Dion and David Foster. I hope you could invite her again.

I saw you were going to be on QVC this week and although still psyched, I am sad that the taping is in California. I live pretty close to the studios in PA and was hoping it would be here with a chance to be in the audience. My daughter and I have wanted to go to see your show for the longest time but aren't able to go to California. Please come to PA soon:)

Hey Ellen, I checked out your Halo cat food on your website the other day and the list of ingredients and some people don't eat that well. Found a store down the street to try the 1 lb. bag for our cat mitten, I did not name her, so we will give the dry seafood cat food a try. Because she is an indoor cat and is used to the dry food and due to my 11 yr/old daughters love for bagels w/cc, lox, and capers, we get food stamps, :} we found that mitten is fond of the smoked salmon. By the way, we found a moving piece of rice on the bottom side of her tail the other day which, one hr. and $50 something dollars later turned out to be a piece of a tapeworm. We decided to have them give her the higher priced pill to kill all worms. Don't know how she got it. Maybe once in a while you could have someone come on the show and talk about the food sprinkles or something and give a little info on subjects such as the one I described above. P.S. You started out as a stand up comedian you'll do fine on QVC, just be yourself and get the important info out there. I took care of my Mom, who drank, and my brother and sister working as a exotic dancer off and on so if I can do that you can do live TV. Speaking of TV's ours is a dino and my Mom passed away on 9-10-08 and I have four kids of my own now. The remote is toast and could REALLY use one of those Vicio TV's. Also, we have a really cool free b-day gift for you since you give so many free gifts to others. I think you'll get a kick out of it. I promise it's not a regift. Love and Hugs, Bren and clan

I saw a too funny combination of news stories in the Times-Picayune this morning (1/8/09) and thought you could appreciate it and perhaps relay the news to the world.

A "deb of the season" Miss Eleanor M. Schwing reigned as Queen of the Twelfth Night Revelers, the krewe whose ball kicks of the Carnival season (but, of course, YOU would know that).

Also, in today's Uptown Picayune section, under "DWI Arrests", it is noted that Miss Eleanor M. Schwing was arrested on December 26 for driving under the influence. At St. Charles and Napoleon, home to Fat Harry's and the start of the uptown parade route.

Miss Schwing certainly has made a splash into New Orleans Society, hasn't she?

I was looking on your website and couldnt find a place to tell you about my game. It involves shot glasses, quarters and butts. You set up three shot glasses in a row on the floor. The player must squeeze a quarter between there buns and walk to the first shot glass. U must release the quarter and have it fall into the shot glass, first to drop one quarter into each shot glass wins. GOOD LUCK
