I'm a little confused with what's going on with Gladys! Why are people thinking she's a fake? I guess I'm out of the loop on this one!

A quick Google search shows your name and the same message all over the Internet - defending Gladys Hardy as if she was real. Scared you're going to lose your living, Kenny? I have a gut feeling that this campaign of yours is one in a long line of battles. Really think about who else you have attacked over the years and try to be honest with yourself, Kenny.

Folks, Gladys is NOT REAL. I see nothing funny in a man pretending to be an 88-year-old woman and who uses a SCRIPT. How is this funny? Yes, it would be funny if Gladys was really an 88-year-old woman, but HE ISN'T. Shame on you Ellen for duping your viewers. Gladys Hardy DOES NOT EXIST. I have checked and so have the newspaper reporters I contacted in Austin.

I do not get to see your show all the time because of work. I am 60 something and think that you are the sweetest heart.
I am so happy for you and your married life.
You are cute and beautiful. Your mamma and the world were blessed the day you were born.
I have just watched all of the talks with Galdys on the computer, even though I had to do some things and down load some stuff that I didn't know what the hell I was doing but I was determined to be able to hear Gladys.
I wish my mother were alive to be able to hear Galdys because it would have given her a lift in life. I know it does for me. Please call her more often if that is possible, keep putting them on your sight and do not ever take them off so that when we all need a heart warming moment we can log on and hear you and Gladys.

Who the heck cares about gender? Gladys is Gladys.
This is entertainment and most importantly it is TRULY entertaining! Not hateful or ugly in the least and if it's helping Meals On Wheels then why would anyone cry foul?!

Today was the first time I caught an episode with a call to Gladys. I have to admit, my first impression was that this can't be for real. It sounded like a man doing an old lady impression and the bit was just too funny, like it was some stand up routine going on. I went back and listened to every video of the Gladys calls....sounds like a real person in most of the others. Please Ellen, tell us that Gladys is on the up and up.
This woman is a FRAUD. She is actually a man who does this schtick all over the country. Ellen, you're smarter than that! And why lie to your viewers as well? It's not right on any level -- his, yours, and ours.

personally i don't want to know if Gladys is real or not, that would be like telling a child there's no Santa Claus.everybody should just sit back relax and enjoy the humour, the stories , and advice.
