Mr. Dunnie. Great people forge through barriers so others to do great things. As a native Washingtonian, and former high school band director, words can not express the pride I have for you and the success of your program. Continue to excel your music program and represent DC well!!

Not surprised but very happy to see the favor God has granted this band. Ellen you have given this band and there staff more than you realize. They will remember all of the wonderful experiences this has brought forth for them. If Mr. Watson keeps crying like that the next show he will be on is Dr. Phil (just kidding). I trully can understand the tears of joy.

Dunnie you will never understand how proud I am to know you and to see all that God has given you to share. This is your season but you have to stop making me cray at work.(smile) The whole Equity Division of T. Rowe Price now knows you are my friend.. LOL I love you soo much! Keep do it big. Ellen, I can't even find the words to express how much I appreciate what you have done so I am simply going to say THANK YOU!

Ballou has to be the best BAND I have every seen and heard....it is an amazing sound that gets the crowd Hype and they give you a great performance.....GO BIG BAD BALLOU!!!!!

Ellen, I just want to thank you for all that you have done for Ballou's Band. You don't know the motivation you have given those young adults. This band has kept them off the streets and encouraged them to go to school so they could continue playing. I am personally affected simply because two of my younger cousins are a part of this band and their father was an alumni with this band. He was killed a few years back and them being in this band gives them some type of continuing connection to him. Again, thank you so much and stay blessed so you can continue to bless others.

Are you kidding me? You are SO fabulous. I literally had goose bumps watching that-What a fabulous gift to give young kids to have faith in life. You have made an incredible impression on those kids-never mind your viewing audience! I still hope that you remember me on my 50th!!!! I don't want a marching band OR anything else-just call me. Took the day off -waiting to hear from you. Keep on doing what you do.. I would love to be able to do what you do-BUT no one knows Maril and I don't have a talk show. How about making me your east coast correspondent? Then again-I do have a job. Keep it up-YOU ROCK!
