Hi ellen I watch your show all the time.GREAT JOB! I have been thinking about this economic problem we are in and had the thought about the 700 BILLION DOLLARS. On todays show you were talking to Maria and read my thought as I was thinking it. What if all that money was given to the people? Wouldn't we pump that money back into the system by buying that car or house? Maybe paying off some of those loans the banks seem to be having a problem with?
I know I had a problem that we finally got out of and I tell you another loan is not what I need, but I will probably have to get one anyway, to buy another house.
Now if the govenment had given ME some of that money I know that we would have put most of it or all of it into the house therefor eliminating any cause for defaulting on another loan.
Big question? Doesn't the government see this or feel that giving the american people the chance to put that money back into the economy would help to solve this problem quicker? Well I had to write to air out some of my thoughts and extremely happy to hear you say what you said today on your show.
Maybe since you have spoken to Barak Obama maybe pass that info onto him before it's to late. LET THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DO THERE PART TO HELP. I have a lot more thoughs (auto industry bailout also) but Ithought I would write to you in hopes that maybe a person in your position might have more of an effect on the situation.
