pulling a Louis-Dreyfus
verb phrase; pulled a Louis-Dreyfus, pulling Louis-Dreyfi

Definition: The act of faking an injury or injuries in order to justify the use of one's potty mouth addiction. The rampant cursing that follows is almost always directed toward the person who allegedly caused the injuries.

Usage:


  1. Julia pulled a Louis-Dreyfus against Ellen after allegedly being hit with a rock.

Hi, Ellen,

When are you going to have those good looking guys from Noah's Arc on your TV show, especially the actor Jensen Atwood? It is one of my favorite TV shows on the LOGO channel.

haha I was at that show and she was hilarious. What a potty mouth, but I have to admit, I have the same mouth as her. Just not around regular people... I can control it unlike Julia. Thank you for the 1st season of Old Christine... Ive watched it a million times and its one of my favorite shows!

I loved when Julia came out injured. That was a great touch! She has such a potty mouth. I thought that was a funny idea to have her use other words instead of cursing. It would have been great if she came out with a really bruised and swollen nose, but the sling and neck brace was great!

I always lose it too... the other day I was trying to convince someone that you Ellen... showed up at my door!!! But they didn't believe me. They said that I'd be way more excited!!! Yeah.. I probably would.. and I wouldn't burst out into laughter at the end!
