I just read Sherry's (from Trevor Wis) e-mail comments about her daughters "Bum" Christmas gift. Sometimes it feels good to vent...That really had to be a huge disapointment for her daughter. But one thing is for sure, we are truly lucky to have you, Ellen, show us how to bring humor, a positive message, or a smile back into our lives even on those most difficult days. Thanks for having Deepak Chopra on today. Great message and looking forward to reading his book.
My bucket list includes "Go to an Ellen show with my daughter", so I hope you are around for a few more years. (Maybe Sherry can take her daughter to see you instead next year for Christmas, hint, hint):) Keep on Dancing!!

My partner and I LOVE your show, she DVR's every show, sometimes we will even watch a particularly funny one twice. We both regiously entered your 12 days of Christmas give aways, I love how you gave all the days to the nice woman yesterday, she was so excited, I could feel it through the TV. I was entering the 13th day give away when I came across an offer on your web site offering 2 "free" ipods............not so much. I took the required survey, answered all the questions truthfully, even inquired about the college grants knowing I would be receiving a ton of spam e-mail from them and any other advertisers in the survey. Much to my dismay when I got to the end of the whole ordeal, the only way I could receive the "free" ipods was to choose 2 out of many offers listed, ALL of the offers required some kind of payment or subscription, to say the least I was very dissappointed. I don't know if you are aware of this offer but I feel it is very misleading, just wanted to give you a heads up.
We love you and your program, you make our day just being yourself, goofy and wonderful.

Ellen, I want to THANK YOU and your staff for picking me to win the blue ray player from day 7 of your giveaways. The past year has been very difficult for me and my family. I gave birth to our daughter March 4, 2007 and contracted a staph infection from the OR. That developed into MRSA, and I didn't know it. 2 weeks later, I was back in the ER close to death. I had septic. There were holes in my belly from the C-section that didn't close, and they were opening more and more. My fiance was jobless, and was worried our children were going to be motherless. I was in ICU for a week. here it is, almost a year later, and I'm not fully healed. Wesley found a job, making 8 dollars an hour. A far cry from the 20 dollar an hour job he had as a drywall finisher. We have a hard time paying our rent and the bills are late, but we make do. Us winning this Blue Ray Player is a Godsend. It is a bright ray of sun coming into our lives at this point. Our children didn't have much of a Christmas, and we couldn't get gifts for each other, but we were together, and the gift you have chosen me for is WONDERFUL!!! It's like you chose this gift for Wesley and I. Thank you again so much..we love you Ellen!!

Hi Ellen, Just wanted to say hello and wish you the best in 2009..Also to thank you for putting smiles on my face on days that were sad..I am hoping 2009 is a better New Year for my family, you and your staff and the entire nation..Even with the sadness my husband and I have faced this year we are still thankful because there are always people that have it worse than us..You and your shows have been a great comfort and brought many happy smiles to our faces when times were bad..Louisiana is extremely proud of you and we are lucky to have such a wonderful woman representing us on television. Hey Ellen, Wishing you and your family a wonderful New Years in 2009. The only day I get to watch you is on Thursdays, which is my day off. I make sure that nothing interrupts the wonderful time that I get to spend with you. You can so bring the biggest smile and loudest laughter out of me, I laugh so hard that, my two dogs look at me and you can read it on their faces... OH LORD she is watching Ellen again! Ellen keep up the good work on bringing fun back into people's lives, we just need that, especially now. It would be great if your show came to St. Louis Missouri, I would be there in heart beat. I live in Ste. Genevieve Missouri which about an hour away.
