Hi Ellen,

I love you and when you call Gladys. I know you are busy, but if there is any way that you could go and visit her I think it would be great. I also have a suggestion for the show if Gladys was willing to do it. How about having a Dear Gladys segment on your show where viewers write in to get her opinion (just like a Dear Abby) on anything. I think it would be hillarious. I am just wondering if Gladys' conversations with Ellen are prepared ahead of time. She answers questions too quickly and seems to know what questions are coming up ahead of time. I'm hoping I'm wrong because it is very entertaining but just something about the recent call (Friday's show) just didn't set right. Thank you for allowing me to comment.

Ellen, PUH-LEEZ have Gladys appear on the show....or you go meet her! If y'all are just too busy, I live in Dallas and I'll even drive down to Austin and meet her myself for ya (while Floyd is napping)! Just send a camera crew and some listerine. Gladys and I could have some heavy conversations I'm sure. LOL. : )

Please go to Austin TX and surprize Gladys....maybe in the Mall where she walks, or Serving popcorn at the theater she frequents....or go to her home and do a cooking segment - meatloaf.....maybe take Tom Selleck with you....Gladys is amazingly funny and with a sweet sole...we all need a little Gladys in our life!!! My grandparents are no longer alive, my mother is gone too.....my dad is 84 and knows me so well, and makes me laugh in times that I want to cry...between the economy, my husband's job will be ending in June, always wondering if my job is discardable....we can all learn from the experiences of such wonderful people...hold family close!
