I was atching your November 20th episode and you made a referance to the fact that Tony hadn't bought his issue of "O" yet. Well I don't believe I've bought a magazine since I was 13 years old. When you came up with you "O" mission, I swore I'd buy at least two copies. And I did. I bought two copies one for me and one for my neighbors, they watch you everyday too. I hope you know that you light up my day, and that I watch you everyday with my children. I thank you VERY much, Keep up the AWESOME work!

Dear Ellen..I do not know where to turn..My electric is going to be turned off in a few days if i don't come up with money..I have 7 children,5 boys and 2 girls.Ages 1,3,5,6,11,12,and (18 year old has learning disabilities)No presents for Christmas and It is already November 19 2009.My mom and best friend just past away in September.I'm broken hearted and scared out of my mind..I love my children more then life its self..I hate to ask but could you please help some how some way..We have called local churches,they have not called back..The electric company says they will shut us off and the landlady says if we don't get this taken care of she will make us move even though we have paid our rent on time since we moved in..PLEASE ELEN WE NEED YOUR VOICE TO BE HEARD BECAUSE NO ONE IS LISTENING TO OURS..Thank you so much.

dear ellen my name is sydney catanzaro and i am 14 years old a freshmen in high school. Today some fantastic people shared so truly amazing information about children in Uganda. Most of these children have been abducted by a man named Joseph Kony. Joesph Kony told these children around age 9 to 10 that if they dont come with him he will kill them. There was a little boy named Jacob he and his brother were abducted by Joesph Kony and his brother tried to escape and Joesph Kony killed Jacobs brother infront of him. These children need our help please give us a chance to help. Type in Invisible Children on google and reade about this tragedy. These children need our help, whthout it they could all die.

Dear Ellen,

I am writing you to ask for help for my sister, Rhonda. My mother has suffered 4 strokes and has been paralyzed for 13 years. My sister and I take care of her at her home. We lost our father in 2005 to congestive heart failure, after being in bed at home for 2 years. I travel from Indiana to Ohio every week to take care of my mother for 2 days and give my sister a break. I have yet to spend a full week at home with my husband since being married 12 years ago. I am a registered nurse and try to work a couple of days a week at our locl schools to provide for myself and my husband. My husband is a farmer and construction worker. He has made 1/3 this year of what he normally makes. Sold all cattle and farm equipment to get by. Finding it hard to keep up with mortgage and school loans (haven't paid on them in 2 years). Not really concerned about myself.. I'll make it! My sister Rhonda is 43 years old and a diabetic also and has no health insurance. She speaks daily of her worries of the future.. using credit cards for bills and groceries.. she owes about 3,000 on her car, and always says "if my car and credit cards were paid for, me and mom would be o.k." She has sacrificed her whole life for our family, never attended college (plans to in the future), or dated seriously because she was so dedicated to my parents. She deserves so much... I wish I could give her everything... I want her and my wonderful mother's fears of the future to be gone. I love them so much, but can only do so much to help.

I refuse to miss your show (DVR) it. You give such joy to others.. you have been truly blessed, and God Bless you for your blessings to others!

Hey Ellen this is Kara :) i am thirteen years old and i have a best friend named Rebecca ! She is such a great person and friend. Shes so nice to everyone. She gives and gives and gives to people. She is just the greatest person i know now there is one thing that would just make my entiire life and that is if you could get her to meet a person that she absolutely LOVES shes seen almost every movie with him in it old and new she has posters and cut outs and everything. She knows everything about him and its Johnny Depp. Now i know this might not work and i see how many e-mails you get but Rebecca her life long drea is to meet him she has a goal sheet and number one is to meet Johnny Depp. She said if she ever found out she was about to meet Johnny Depp she would cry herself to sleep for weeks. PLEASE I would be in forever debt if you could please make my best friends dream come true! I LOVE YOUR SHOW WATCH IT EVERY TIME I SEE THAT ITS ON I LOVE YOU ELLEN!!

hey Ellen.. its rough bein 17 and gay in a very tiny town like mine,, i watch your show every day.. i hope that i can find love like you have. You and Portia are so adorable and I am so happy for you. I thought i had found the one, but being 16 and stupid, i messed up. I still think about her every day but am slowly, 8 months later, learning how to cope with it.Watching your show is the only highlight of my day.I cant wait to get home from school to watch it, to know that there is someone out there, who has made it and that it isn't impossible.

ellen, my sister angela and i have a new game for you, it is the classic preschool shape sorter, the one made of wood has 4 sides and you sort shapes, my nephew got one for his birthday and all of us adults were timing each other to see who can sort them the quickest, it is a lot harder than you think, perhaps yu can suggest it and even modify it... maybe with teams... thanks for all the laughs in the A.M
