I am so glad you had a fantastic Christmas.5 of us TRIED to have one also but got stuck at Logan Airport due to the damn white crap falling out of the sky(not airplanes)Although we NEVER even left the gate,of course they lost our luggage(damn gorrillas under airport handling baggage) Sooooo we wont be home for Christmas, not even in our dreams. Oh my God, Ellen, you are so funny! Portia is so lucky to have you in her life ALL the time! And I'm sure you feel lucky to have her as well. Anyway, I just wanted to say I'm so happy for both of you. Anytime I'm feeling down all I have to do is catch 5 minutes of one of your shows to lift me up! I watch your show as often as I can, unfortunately I don't get to see it every day, and you always make me smile. Sometimes I wish that I lived in California so that I could have a chance to meet you and see one of your shows live. I strive daily to be more like you - not take life so seriously. Hey Ellen, yes I think they need to make a sequel to Finding Nimo, but this one will be called "Dora's New World". Nimo of course will be in it, along with the other fishies. Let me know what you think. I hope to come see you live soon.

Your video of Bora Bora looks amazing. My husband and I have said that we would love to take our kids there just to see the clear water and snorkel with the fishies. It looks beautiful.

Good for you. I live in the sunshine state, but love to hear when others have enjoyed the warmth as well.
First, before my editorial comment (ahem, smile), I love your show, especially the humorous way you treat every subject, and always with taste. I appreciate your openness about your personal life. How refreshing after all the years (centuries?) of closet existences for gay people.
Now to the editorial comment. Television is making changes to the language faster than anything before this information era. I'm hearing incorrect usages rapidly becoming common. Okay, what did you do this morning? You spoke of an "amount" of fish swarming around you for the bread. An "amount" of fish would refer to how many might fit in a barrel. I imagine that you meant the "number" fish. If I'm wrong, forgive me, but it would surely change the image in my mind. (smile)
No, I'm not an English teacher. Just a person who desperately wants you and those in similar positions to BE role models for correct English. (Whew, do I sound pedantic! And I really wanted to make this a humorous note.)
