Howdy Ellen -
looks like you and Portia had a great time in Bora Bora. It reminds of the Florida Keys back when I was jet ski racing. My friend Dana and I would hit the water for hours chasing sandy beaches, catch-n-release shells, sponges and crabs on shallow reefs. We saw several types of sharks and jet skied with the dolphins.

Each day we rode a little further until we were so lost we didn't know how to get back to the cabin at Little Torch Key. Luckily we had just enough gas to make it to Big Pine Key and ask for assistance to call the cabin's attendant. They were nice to grab 10 gallons of gas and drive 2.5 hours to us. We made it back to Little Torch at sunset. What an awesome day that was!

I got to experience a feeding of tropical fish, my sister and I went to Grand Cayman (many years ago) but while we were out snorkeling she got too much salt water and ended up feeding the fish. I never seen so many fish in such a short amount of time come rushing in. My X and I laughed so hard I thought we were going to drown. It is another beautiful place to go if you have never been there.

I love that you went to Bora Bora for a break. My best friend and I are planning a trip there this July and plan to stay in one of the overwater bungalows, too. You've made me look forward to it even more.

This was great watching you get in the water Portia just gets it over with and you Ellen taking your time! I am the same way, I make it take forever to get into the water which is worse. You know how cold its going to be to just jump in. Even though the reality of it is that it is colder to take your time! Good for you to have such a happy life. It was great watching your video. It looks like the two of you had a fantastic time in Bora Bora. I absolutely loved watching you go into the water!! I was literally laughing out loud. The fish looked beautiful, as well. We all know how much you love animals in general so, I am going to guess that you had a great time. I love how giving and caring you are. Keep it up. We need more people like you in this world. Hope you had a wonderful holiday season and I wish you many more in the future. You are truly an inspiration and I hope you stay the way you are right now. You are a wonderful person inside, and out.

Your Vacation in Bora Bora looked like a lot of fun. Portia is a good sport to jump right in, you on the other hand had to be hamming it up for the camera...but it really made me laugh! The fish were beautiful. What was the feeling like? I can't imagine them all around you like that. Thank-you for sharing with us, it is very much appreciated. Your "Twelve Days of Christmas" Giveaway was very thoughtful. I watched yesterday when the young couple with a son received all twelve days... How beautiful and very touching! After having a very emotional day, it made me cry all over again.
On a more joyous note...the couple still had their Christmas tree up...as do I. The days after Christmas should be the MOST joyful of times as we celebrate the little Savior who has been born for us. We spend so much time celebrating Jesus' birth BEFORE he is born, that we don't really feel like celebrating any more once he has actually been born!

Hi Ellen so nice to see the two of you enjoying your vacation. You deserve it . And thank you for showing all of your fans your true side always. Also I wanted to thank you for being who you are as it helped me very much to watch you and have a good laugh while I was dealing with breast cancer a couple of years ago. Please tell me that it really did not take you 2 hours to get in that beautiful water. Just an FYI I got out of bed on this day POed at my husband from the night before and was in a foul mood and I saw your video from your vacation and saw you getting in the water from the ladder and totally laughed my _ _ _ off. So I have to thank you for cheering up my day. (MY HUSBAND SHOULD BE THANKING YOU FOR SAVING HIS BEHIND). After I saw that and laughed so hard I changed my mood.
I got laid off from my job Nov. 10 and then he got laid off Christmas Eve (MERRY CHRISTMAS TO US)
so stress has been a BIG FACTOR lately.
