Dear Ellen,

Maybe this is not just a comment about your latest shows but a real letter to you.

Me and my two kids arrived from the Philippines last October 9 to join my husband who has been here working as a nurse for almost four years now. I already heard you when I was still back home but I never thought you really have a great sense of humor and make me laugh. Since the time I catched your show in tv, I've been watching you since then till now. I'm actually quite homesick especially that I'm not working here yet but when I wach you, I'm really entertained and forget all my worries. I love most is the "George Watch '08", I'm glad this portion is still in your show now as "George is mine in '09".

Me and my husband just had our 10th year wedding anniversary last December 30, but before that I jokingly asked him to buy a plane ticket for me to go see you personally as his wedding anniversary present. Of course, I just can't leave with him working and I'm left with the kids. Besides, it's not that easy to just go there and see you, right?

Ever thought of having a vacation in our country, Phillipines? There's a place called BORACAY, it's a very beautiful place just like a paradice. Remeber, it's where Charice Pempengco and Arnel Pineda come from, too.

I forgot to mention one thing: Every time I see Portia in one of these videos, I want her to do a Lindsay Bluth impression! I'm begging for it inside! Ellen should ask her to do it while filming her and it would just appear a very natural and spontaneous request! Or should I write one of those deep dramatic letters?

I'm so jealous! I have always wanted to go to BoraBora. I'm so glad you shared some of your trip with us. You are great and I can always count on you to make me laugh! Best to you in 2009!!!!!

This was the funniest Ellen & Portia vacation vid ever!! Portia was sooo cute hesitating before she jumped!! And then "I lost my pants"! OMG! That got me laughing hard!! And Ellen hesitating! PRICELESS! That was too funny!

I love your show. I just wish when you are going to dance, maybe once in a while you try Country Music to dance too. I know there are alot of upbeat songs that would work. Just a thought. Thanks for making me laugh.

I am a "newcomer" to your show and I wish I had been watching from the beginning. I just love watching you laugh!!! Your laugh is so contagious. I now have you set on my TiVo and watch you everyday when I come home which makes my family have to wait for dinner until I watch the entire show!!! I need my fix. Thanks for making me laugh. In today's tough times you really are a bright spot in my day!!!

When you do your show and you make everyone happy and laugh, especially me and my family, I just want you around all the time. Then showing your home video's and how funny and light hearted you are, loving who you are with, not only Portia but the animals you come in contact with, you are just amazing. I really try to live by your example. Life is WONDERFUL and I wish everyone took it in everyday as you do.
By the way my son calls you Ellen D-Generous, because he says you are so generous to everyone. I was blessed with such a thoughtful boy.
