The Plain White T's performed their hit "1,2,3,4" on Thursday, and afterward Ellen gave everyone in the audience their latest CD, "Big Bad World." You have a chance to win your own copy, but you've got to enter right here first!

Everyone in Ellen's Thursday audience was in some way involved in the recent wildfires that ravaged parts of Southern California. Firefighters, victims and family members all gathered together in Ellen's studio. Many of those affected by the fires still don't have a place they can call home.

The United Way has set up the Southern California Fire Fund to help. The fund focuses primarily on the aftermath to ensure community-wide healing. Financial donations can be made to the fund by calling 1-866-571-7193 or by visiting www.unitedwaysocalfirefund.org.
Checks can be made out to "United Way SoCal Fire Fund" and mailed to:

As an alternative, donations are also accepted by the Red Cross. Click here to be linked to their website and help those less fortunate in this season of giving!

Hi Ellen, I just wanted to say that I thought todays show was wonderful. Leave it to you to stop and think about those that are in harms ways and those that help them out, especially during this time of the year. I was living on the East Coast when 911 occured and remember all of the first responders lost during that time. We, as humans, get so wrapped up in our own lives, we forget about those who have lost so much. Thank you for reminding people what this season is all about. It is a time for care about your fellow man, the way God intended. God Bless you and your family this holiday and thank you again for all you do.
