New Ellen Dictionary Entry!

Check out the new phrase we just added to the Ellen online dictionary!

Cloud 12
noun

Definition: A state of euphoria and giddiness that can only be achieved from being surrounded and teased by 12 gorgeous showgirls. This level of satisfaction is often characterized by an extreme never-ending smile, widened pupils, and of course, the rubbing together of one's hands in utter delight.

Usage:


  1. Though he lost his life savings at the craps table, Julio's trip to Vegas still ended with him being on Cloud 12.

i love your show Ellen , i hope sometime you bring some bellydancer , i think that is new idea , i wish my brother is here in America as he is one of the best belly dancer i ever seen

it isnt just my culture. since i've watched all the talk shows, many parents in western countries as well, they were either too busy or.. and they donno what their children were doing.....

my parents never know what i was doing myself. lucky that i always save me from myself. else they'll just loose me and dont how.
they r both nice and simple ppl. (my dad likes to make achievements in his career, but his mind is still always simple.) my whole family r so simple.
and mostly its me and mom, dad always out busy his work.
me is 'black sheep' of the family but they dont know. :/ is that interesting too?

In my family we have a few words of our own, being southern and all you can imagine the words that fly. One in particular you may not be familiar with is glacamora alos known as guacamole. Go figure!

I think that Chris Rock was on CLOUD 12 with all the glitter and gloss of the Vegas girls costumes and the 13 knock out ladies with him. Yes Ellen you are included in the 13.

Hi Ellen,
I have tried for 2 years to get tickets to your show. I see that you have a Las Vegas show and I had no idea you could only try 1 time or you our request will be cancelled. It is my Little sisters 45th birthday and she has never ever been to Las Vegas, you know what they say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. The only vacation we've ever had together as grown ups was to Disneyland with kids.

G.Clooney is getting more mad at you! I am sure he will not come over to your show. You need President Obama to help you after Nov4/08. I think it is silly of him to think so small!
