Hi Ellen and the whole Ellen network team. I am here with another hardship story. My friend Larry had colon cancer. He had surgery December of 2009 and all he's ever wanted is to be on your show. I was hoping to surprised him with tickets to one of the twelve days of Christmas this year 2010. You see they removed his colon, bladder and prostrate. He is 48 years old looks great and has an "outstanding and positive attitude" with both a colostomy and bladder bag. The cancer is back and he is a candidate under new studies as I write this. From the outside you can not tell anything different, until he pick up his shirt!! Contact me so we can make his 1 year still here on earth a bigger celebration.

ellen your great i hope i win on of your give aways cause christmas is going to be slim for us we could realy use some help we are about 15,000 dollars in dept do to medical bills and one credit card we had to use when we done have money my husband wears clothing with holes and mine just done fit but we manage if you ever come up with a job online poease let me know cause with my knees i cant sit or stand for a long time i know my 1989 dodge car will soon be done for it breaks down about every other week

Hi Ellen well your web site is very impressive, it is sooo impressive, I don't know where to go to do what, I want to enter for free gifts, but also want to enter for BIG gifts. (Or just free tickets, ya get it?) It seems we are "one way" BFFs you ask for face book friends,I am certain you have too many but I could be your face book friend. I have an abulance up the road that has "farm use" tags on it and I have no idea how to post it, it is way too funny. I have been a fan for years, not my first e-mail. LOVED THE VARIETY, QUESTS DANCING,SPONTANIETY AND JUST SEEING THE AUDIENCE REALLY ENJOYING THEMSELVES. YOUR GAMES ARE CRAZY, MAKES ME LAUGH, I NEED SOME LAUGHTER WITH THE FRIGID TEMPS AND PILES OF SNOW IN NORTHEASTERN OHIO. I HAVE BEEN SO ANXIOUS FOR WARMTH AND SUNSHINE. I DIAGNOSED W/TRIPLE NEGATIVE BREAST CANCER AFTER MAMMOGRAM LAST MARCH. I WENT THROUGH 8 SESSIONS OF CHEMOTHERAPY, 3 WEEKS APART.. STARTED IN JUNE. AFTER THANKSGIVING 7 WEEKS (5 DAYS A WEEK) OF RADIATION..HAD A STROKE IN SEPT. AFTER HAVING THE USUAL BLOOD WORK, HAD A CASE OF SHINGLES IN JANUARY.. ONLY ONE MORE RADIATION THERAPY TOMORROW. YES, I WILL BE DONE!! MY HAIR(IT STARTED FALLING OUT 2 WEEKS AFTER 1 CHEMO, IT IS NOW COMING BACK ABOUT 1/2 " LONG, LOOKS PITCH BLACK..USE TO BE A REDISH BROWN. HAD DAYS WITH ABSOLUTELY NO ENERGY AT ALL, NOW JUST WANT TO GET BETTER..IT HAS BEEN A LONG WINTER. KEEP GOING WITH MORE ENTERTAINMENT!

Just a quick little blurb to let you know how much we here in Canada love your show. Myself and my boyfriend watch it everyday...if we miss it at one time we make sure to get you on another station later. Your part of our day. (Eh Bud!...said in canadian accent..heehee) Wish we had more chances as Canadians to enter more of your contests and give aways...what-up-with-that?

Where would I look to get more info on the kitchen TV shown on today's show, 12-18-08? My mother wants a TV for the kitchen and this would be perfect because of all the totally cool features. I love the show and have watched from day 1. My kids gave me a Tivo for Christmas last year so I could be sure I would never miss the show. It's and hour of sunshine even on my darkest days. Ellen, you got me through breast cancer as well as the death of my husband. Laughter really is the best medicine and you are terrific! The dancing doesn't hurt either.

Elleeeeeen!!!

I watch your show practically everyday, unless I'm working odd hours. I try to time my lunch breaks in time to watch you and will take away the remote control if a coworker tries to change the channel.

I loved the giveaway you did last Wednesday with the Wave board. It looked like so much fun that I added it to my Christmas list. I'm a snowboarder on hiatus, I just never have the time during the winter to go out to the hills, so doing something similar doing the spring and summer might get me back into snowboarding shape for next winter.

Thanks for a great idea for a Christmas gift... to myself! :)

I am a stay at home mom with 3 children and I waych your show every day. Just want you to know that watching helps me to laugh and re-gain my sanity after a long day(you air at 3 P.M. here in Texas). I am hoping to win the 12 Days of Giveaways so that my kids can have a good Christmas this year. Money is very tight in our home right now.

Dear Ellen, Just wanted to say I love you and your show. I also wanted to let you know that I found out that a really good friend of mine and her husband on Thanksgiving went and volunteered their time at a homeless shelter. I started to think about that I have never done that. So I decided that in my free time..Selfemployed housekeeper and a full time mom that I would start doing that, and I have. Thank you and to my friend I feel like I can give back. I may be broke but my son has everything he needs or wants..so I don't need anything...I wanted to give back from what I have taken in the past years. This year its about giving and not taking, this is not the year to be selfish.....Thank you Ellen for your inspirations!!!!!
