Hi, Ellen. I turned 50 last year to but I don,t know if I look as good as you. Iam unemployed since June, have not found a job yet. I take care of my mother who is 79, There is ten children, in the family.In three houses on our street there was 10 kids. We live on a hill so we would say we live on horny hill.

My name is Michelle and I am 15 years old,and I am currently living in South Africa. I love your show so much and I have watched it since it came out in S.A in early 2008.We are currently living in the past down here as we have just finished Whuut the february that was made last year! No matter if we are really behind I still enjoy the show and will watch it forever and a day and when I am finished school in three years time, i will come and visit the USA as well as come to see your show!!! Every time I am mad at my three sisters and or my brother I know I can turn on your show and forget about them for one hour of the day.thanks for being so awesome!!!!!

Ok Ellen here it goes...

I am a 45 year old gay male. My companion passed
away in 2005 unexpectedly around Christmas. Moved several times to start a new life, I have had a series of unfortunate events and I lost my possessions and money. No car, unable to find work I am now on Medicaid/receive $67 twice a month. Live with my older sis who is sick and due for surgery. I had a mental breakdown 2 months ago, now I'm on anti depressants and feeling better but having to start completely over with nothing at age 45 is very difficult..

I came accross my box of memorabilia. I have many signed music items- Cher microphone, Patti Labelle eyelash, Grease 45 sleeve by John Travolta, Barbara signed album A Star is Born, Purple Rain album signed by Prince,and more. I'm hoping Ellen can help me auction it
on a segment of her show. This would help to buy a car, go back to school, and start a savings fund.

Ellen if you read this, please help if you can.
I appreciate your thoughtfulness to others and your caring ways.

I watch & praise all of you who have the will, the means, the love to put this type of place into place, like the dog rescue featured on your show! Here in the USA & I'm sure around the world there is such a need to help the animals & strays left alone today. I myself dream of starting an organization of connecting to an organization to help with the numerous strays in my area ALONG w/ helping low-income pet owners get help w/ food & Vet care for our babies.... Our economy has made it SOOOO hard to take care of our pets. Between making ends meet & food cost, paying bills, electric, insurances, taxes, etc. etc. & the HIGHER cost of living today i find myself filled with joy from the love i recv. from my 6 cats, 2 dogs, & Trixy our bunny! ALL STRAYS we have accumulated in the past few yrs. but my pockets empty. I have a neighbor who is extremly unfortunate financially & has 35 + cats, 5 dogs, only because "They keep coming" we feed them bread soaked in chicken broth most times because the money for dry food is just not there. We are both on Social Sec. & can barely take care of our needs, & family members needs. Here in Live Oak, N. Central FLA there is limited or no help with our struggles. Stray dogs & cats are everywhere, Our small local Animal Shelter just can’t keep up. We have an idea for "Underprivileged Pets" have spoke to my church, the Animal Shelter, local Vets everyone we can think of but they will get back to me is what i hear. I would be willing to do all involved to get this in place in my area, but its early in my search & so many to write....thats why today i thought of you, Miss Ellen ! My heart breaks DAILY here in the town where i live, i carry a little dog/cat food, water w/me & have fed 100's of strays around dumpsters, churches, the library, WalMart parking lots, only to be in tears that i cannot take on anymore & hope they are not killed. I have seen the numbers increase since our "Economic Hardships" here in the world we live. This is a result of not enough to get by. I have found "Chow Wagons" on the internet food banks for people & pets in PA & CA but nothing in my area. Nothing. Ellen i have admired you since i saw you on Johnny Carson sometime in the 80's when my daughter was born. You too fill my heart with joy & love like my babies.I will not rest until someone hears & HELPS! God save these neglected, underprivileged children. Seemingly so alone in this, Rebecca & Laura

Happy Holidays to you ELLEN and your beautiful wife Porche. All I wanted for Christmas is a new 30 inch stove that I haven't had in seven (7) months now.Due to emergency reasons that had happened in my building we got a used non working oven and broiler that don't work this really hurts.my son and I lost about six to twelve pounds because of our unwanted diet.so If you happen to come across a working stove let us know.we will be trying of fatten ourselves up soon.Have a wonderful New Year in 2009.WE love you as always..my son watchs your show too and thinks you so cool. I had a wish this year to come to your show it didn't happen because I live too far away and i have a big family of 6 included my husband, i put my wish for next year now. congradulation on your wedding.

Hi Ellen: I really do enjoy your show, you and I share the same Birthday but a different year. We are exactly (11yrs.) different in age which makes me older . This year I am going (like I do every year)to my youngest son's place as to see " my Birthday present" open his gifts. I have a Grandson named A.J.(short for Anthony James) born on our Birthday . He will be 3 years old this January 26 . could you please send us an address to send you something, so I know you would get it. I could only dream that I had seats reserved until 2015. To bad that I got my hopes up. But that was a nice horoscope maybe it will come true. Hope to meet you in person with my kids as well. And if I'm not picked hope your holidays are feild with joy, laughter, and happiness. Hi Ellen:

I just wanted to thank you for all you do for others. It must be very stressful for you having people ask you for things and for help. I'm sure it is difficult deciding who to help when so many are in need especially in this recession. Reading some of these comments from people make me wish I could help them because you can feel their pain. If I had the means I would for sure help but at the moment I am unemployed as well but cannot complain as I am alive and able to watch my two boys 11 & 8 grow up after being diagnosed w/3 different breast cancers. My oldest son was only 2 when I was first diagnosed so I am blessed. Thank you again for all you do. Happy Holidays.

Did you see that Venus,Mars and the moon were in triangular form two nights ago???

They showed on the news. It won't happen again for another 50 years or so... don't go by the 50...I can't remmeber exactly.. but its a long time!
