Hi Ellen, First of all I`d like to say I love your show. It`s positive, makes me laugh and entertaining. I have a concern with your blindfold games. In my opinion they are not funny. My sister and brother in law are both blind. Anything to do with blindness is cruel. Perhaps if anyone were to blindfold themself for even one hour in their own home, they might get it. I am such a HUGE fan...but enough about me!! This is a special birthday request for my sister-in-law, Michele Claeys who is also a trememdous fan -- and she turns 50 next week (2/26/09). She went to your show and tried unsuccessfully to meet you. She purchased the pink scooter that was on your show and autographed by many of your celebrity guests a few years ago and I wanted to send you a picture of my two girls (her favorite "baby" nieces) posing with it but was unable to attach it to this message. (I'd still love to if you can tell me how/where to send it...since you're getting all computer-savvy and stuff!)
Michele is a wonderful and very generous person - she reminds me very much of you & your personality and it would absolutely MAKE her year to have a personal birthday wish from you. Her birthday party is on February 28th where she'll be having an "80's Prom"...can't you just see all those poofy sleeves and BIG hair now?!
We live in Augusta, GA (are you coming to the Masters golf tournament in April?) and your show is aired here at 10 a.m. while she's a busy dentist but I'd be happy to provide any phone numbers or addresses you might want to use. I truly hope that you'll consider helping me pull off the most wonderful gift I could give my favorite sister-in-law. Since I lost my job in December finances are a bit tight -- but this would be better than anything I could ever buy her and I sincerely hope you'll consider helping me out.
