Check out the new phrase we just added to the Ellen online dictionary!
scarell
verb, scarelled
Definition: Scaring someone in a way that is so well thought out and so unexpected that the victim has virtually no chance of not being terrified. Because of the immense planning involved, it usually takes years of failed scaring attempts on a particular person before this technique is deemed necessary. The cooperation of hundreds of onlookers to not “tip off” the victim is often required for success.
Usage:
- Though he nearly gave up in his attempt to frighten Tina, Jerome finally scarelled the living daylights out of her.
