Hi Ellen,
Just wanted you to know I love you and you helped me come out with my partner Patirica,but my daughter does not like it at all and dont let us come see her, cause she dont want my granddaughter around people like me since Im with another woman. It really hurts me,but she lets me talk to her on the phone and we live only 45 minutes from each other.But I have to live my life the way that makes me happy. I"ve put Patirica thru alot off and on for 3 yrs cause of it. I"ve had to stand strong and you have gave me the stregth to do it,Thank you and I never miss your show you always make me smile and laugh, you make my day. Love ya, Betty

Hi Ellen!!!!

Everyone here in Newark, NJ has a problem remembering the name of our Mayor but everyone not only knows you but we also brag how you have the baddest, the coolest and the most hipped tv show even my family and I who are battling VHL (all types of tumors/malignant and benign)I personally had a complete left nephrectomy, has had 13 surgeries and now have renal cell carcinoma on the right and pnacreatic CA) but guess what you, my kids, my bestfriend (my kids' father) and my grand babies keep me going!!

Hello again all, it's me the single mother of 3 boys. I just got in from work and since I can't affor the dish any more,The first thing I do is enjoy the ellen group. We never get to speack, but I feel like I know you guys.Like Milinda with her bags pack waiting by the phone... Wow Ellen you did it, these countries are all coiming together, worring about winning contest and seeing the worald and not sitting thinking of more resons to hate the worald... Hi Ellen, Hope you will get this message. I just amnaged to subscribe to our local DSTV satellite station in which I am able to view news, and among other things your show. Its a pity i only just got hooked to it about two months ago, I have been watching the satellite station, but it was just a coincidence I tuned in one day and saaw your show. Though its seems last last eyar recordings (the 12 days give away, mary j. blige etc) I just like you and your programme. And indeed you can take the stress out of me after a hard day's work. Here in Sierra Leone - a country coming out of 12 years civl war, not everyone can have the opportunity to subscfibe to a dstv satellite station. We managed to do it after saving hard, and we have to pay quarterly or yearly. But at the moment we manage to pay quarterly as yearly will be too much on our finances.

I only hope one day you will be able to come and vist Sierra Leone, West Africa such a beautiful country though one one the world's most poorest.

I just hope you can reply me personally and I will be definitely thrilled. Keep up the good work and continue to help the less priviledge. You will be greatly rewarded in due course.

Wow, ur simply amazing & awesome thank you 4 the hope you give to lives you know what i,ve come to realise that hope is the spirit that turns evry situation around & wat trips me most is ur outfit its simple & beatiful i jst luv d way u blend it all. Hi Ellen,
I've never done anything like this before, but i just have to tell you "thank you" I've been battling renal cancer for over a year now, and when i'm feeling pretty crappy, which is almost everyday, from the chemo, all i have to do is go to my dvr and watch you, and for that little time i watch you, everything feels so much better, and i actually get the strength to laugh. Im doing ok now, and am done with the chemo and just waiting to hear if everything is ok. I actually talked to you when i ordered my stand up for cancer t-shirt, and it made my evening, and gave me hope. So, once again, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me a little relief.

Ellen, we all know you have a really nice home, probably more than one, and you make alot of money. And what I "really" like about you, and sets you apart from any other host, is that you make us feel you're just like us. You tell stories we've all been thru, you make us laugh like one of our girl friends would. There is NO air about you! This is why I love your show, I love to watch you and laugh w/you. It is absolutely hard to imagine that you are a wealthy celebrity. You love and have fun w/ your mother like I'm sure so many of us do also. This is why "I" love to watch your show, please "never" change from that "down to earth" feel.

Ellen I think what you are doing for cancer is just wonderful. I lost my dearest friend, who was my sister with cancer at age 34 and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her and that was 22 years ago. Just keep helping the cause.

My daughter and I were fortunate enough to visit your show in Sept. It is was even more exciting than we imagined. Thank you for that opportunity to see you in person and spend quality time with my 18 year old daughter. It is truly a memory we will never forget. You rock, and I enjoy your relationship you have with your mom too!
