My names Devyn, weird name yes I know and I am a girl! I live in connecticut and I'm fifteen years old. I watch your show everyday ater school with my mom and you are always making us laugh. I would love to get tickets and go see you with my mom but we can't really do that right now. I would also want to meet Robert Pattinson. He's the love of my life and I would LOVE to meet him. Ellen I love you!!! I watch you everyday 4 o'clock sharp (becasue I am in atlantic canada)! I am 12 years old... almost 13, and I am your biggest fan!!!!!! You are such a big inspiration to people all over the world, teaching people to chase their dreams , and to dance! I want to come see your show someday, and I promise I will get there one way or another, with my mom.. she loves you too!!
You started the show on September 8, 2003 and are still going strong , not one episode let me down, not one disapointment! Where do you come up with these ideas??!!!?? But my favorite part of the show is when you dance at the first of every show and walk over the table!

I love your show Ellen and I admire you and the geniune character you display at all times. I love how to give just ordinary everyday people a break and how helpful you are to all you encounter. Keep up the good work. I try to watch everyday but I am now staying with my mom who has alzheimers and sometimes when in the middle of something for her I miss the show but the next day I am on it. I love the music the audience dancing and you just enjoying life and sharing that joy daily..

dear ellen, once i saw an 'Oprah' show about a family, they have 4 sons, they r all very good ppl, and all like doctors and lawyers, very decent ppl indeed. 3 of the son found out that they were gay. because those ppl r very reserved and decent ppl, for them to tell their parents they are gay, isnt like a life style they want to choose. that show just tells ppl that gay isnt something ppl choose to be, but they are born so. I remembered that show, that's how I get to understand about gay ppl.
and there was another 'Oprah' show about one gay boy who once been attacked by a prejudiced man, but years later, they reached understanding. and they worked together tell ppl to understand and forgive each other more. that was a great story.
there were lots shows help ppl to understand more about gay ppl. some church ppl say that gay ppl r wrong, but no matter they r right or not, first of all, isnt 'catholicity' the most important thing for the church ppl.

What a shallow yank you are..This was an important announcement not only to America but to the rest of the world. You can find David Cook on youtube, because I have checked and he is on there for you.
I too was disappointed that Obama interrupted the show just when David Cook was about to sing. I love Obama, but his timing really frustrated me today!
When and where can we see David Cook perform on your show again? Will you have him on again or put the video online?

Yay...he's finally there. Ellen,I am so excited for you to have David Cook on your show. Two of my favorite people (David and Ellen) in one place, it doesn't get any better. I loved David on American Idol, and I can't get enough of him now. I've e-mailed the show many times asking to come on and meet David..I even promised I would dance or get dunked or do anything else I could do...and although I haven't heard anything back (yet) I'm still Dreaming Big!!!

Just wanted to tell you what a great show you got. Your show is aired at 18:00 pm in South Africa every evening. Its wonderful to come home and watch a well educated, articulate public figure speaking from the heart and having so much fun on TV. Keep doing what you doing. Hope you do an outside broadcast from South Africa soon.

Hey Ellen my children and I watch your show every chance we get its nice to be able to watch it together. I am a single mom with 2 great kids and lots of pets...Recently on my way home from work I found 2 kittens on the road so I stopped and picked them up assuming that I would be able to find homes for them.. We ended up keeping them for a couple of weeks as they were so tiny and malnourished and one of our neighbors offered to take the male so I just had the little female to find a home for...At this point we already had 2 labs a pug and a cat but needless to say we fell in love with her and named her Nahla and she is a loving addition to our family... Our 7 month old yellow lab puppy has really taken a shine to her and believe it or not the kitten has taken to nursing off of her several times a day and even though she is getting no milk a vet I spoke to said she is doing it because she was probably taken away from her mother to soon.. Anyhow it is very cute and if I can borrow a camcorder from someone I will send you a picture of it.. Please tell people again and again how important it is to spay and neuter there pets and do not dump off unwanted pets in the country because you think they can survive because quite often they die when no one finds them quick enough... Thanks so much and take care . Your show is fabulous
Hi ellen, I donno much about the gay ppl, but once I saw a real life story about a male in England, he really wanted to be a women. So he began to dress like a women first, then later tried to do surgeries, and he did change into a very beautiful women. But the sad part is that his friends and even family don’t understand him, his parents wont see him anymore. He felt very sad about that, he said his parents were only thinking about their own ‘face’, how other ppl will see them. But they don’t think for him. He was crying when was telling that. When I saw that I felt sad for him too………. Because if I were his family or friend, I would be able to think from his perspective and try to understand him. I felt sad for long time…….
I know that being gay is born like that. Some ppl just don’t have the knowledge and not willing to understand………

I would like to thank you for being such an inspiration for me and so many others. I came out of my closet yesterday when I told my father about being gay and he took it very well. I'm so happy to stop pretending and stop being afraid of telling the truth about my homosexuality. I was finally honest to my father...I finally feel free.
