I used to watch that show as well. It was the best. Didn't know tom selleck was considered to be in raiders of the lost ark.

To David Whitaker:

Your message is very touching and sweet! I wish that society would embrace that instead of the 'we all must be size 0 or you're fat and ugly'

Bless you and your family!

Rusti

The hands gave it away!

I can just hear him say "What!? Can you believe that they said that about me?" to accompany that movement.

I missed the show today, but I can easily substitute some stock phrases that might accompany the picture. Magnum was a regular favorite in our house.

And, although he may look good, it is Tom's voice and laugh (and maybe smile) that I would love to get canned... so to be able to pop it out periodically on a blue day! He felt like part of the family for years. Best wishes to him!

Tom Selleck was not in Smokey and the Bandits. That was Burt Reynolds. Burt Reynolds cannot hold a candle to Tom. Gotta love that handsome face.

Everyday I go through if I look good or not... I loved Tom Selleck on the Smokey and the Bandits movies that him and Sally Field played together... She looks good for her age too.. I love the way you dance on TV... Keep it up!!!

Yes I used to watch that show! ("Magnum P.I.")!

He drove really cool cars.

I am unemployed for the moment so I get chance to watch your show now a then. I saw a portion of the show talking about weight gain and loss and what still shows or hangs.

I am verrrrry upset about this topic. We all should aspire to be in the best shape and nutrition but obviuosly it not a perfect science.

I dismay about hours given this topic:

while about 2 billion people on the planet do not have good water.

while women who go thru childbirth, vomitting, stretching out and then hopefully in again with no marks get scrutinized as to how well they manage this process.

I am a man who (honestly) can enjoy a well shaped woman but often feel sick at the amount of scrutinization women go thru and how they must sit in pubic and explain what they are doing.

I try my best to to re-educate myself and my son and my daughter (i am afraid as to how my 13 year old is already affected) to accept the "best efforts" of people and understand that at 18 we are all very tight and sexy, less at 30, less at 40, less at 50, less at 60 ands so on and I advise them please do not let this be the focus of your life but enjoy each phase and do reach out to those other 3 billion in your small way.

Ellen i depend on you and other level headed public figures to guide us thru this and do your part to teach us better.

keep em dancing, I am fifty with a very sexy wife (hangs abit) two kids.

david and his family

I did not realize that it was Tom Selleck. But DANG he looks good.
