Hi Ellen My name is Nikita and I've been watching your show since 2004.I'm from Detroit Michigan, but now live in Tallahassee Florida. In 2002 my Father was brutually murder and since then my whole life has changed.I was twenty years old. Since moving to Florida i've tried going to school to finish up, and keep my mind off of things but its so hard. I suffer from panic attacks which keeps me from getting in my car and going where I need to be. I recently had a baby on May 12, 2008. A little girl name Jordyn McKenzie, she is my life. Every late morning @ 11am since beening in my stomach we watch your show. I remember when you had the show with all the pregnant woman in the audience, boy did I wish I were there!!!! I just want to tell you how you make me smile and laugh for an hour while i'm stuck in the house. Thanks Ellen Jordyn and I love you

Hi Ellen. This is my first time for ever writing to you. I love watching your show.I have to be at work at 3 every day, so I set my DVR to record all of your shows. What I like most about the show is the way you help people, and when you're dancing. I like to do my victory dance too every time you come on.I am really writing to tell you a little about my sister. She has 3 kids and is a single parent. Its really hard sometimes for her to get her kids what they need. She has a son that is 7 years old and he has wanted a dirt bike for 2 christmas now,but she can't afford to get him one.So if there is any way you help. I would gladly appreciate it and I know she would too very much. Thanks for taking the time to read my email Ellen. You are such an inspiration to me.

DearEllen, I am sending this email with hopes of finding help for my family and others in desperate need for assistance. I am a single widowed mother of two beautiful children that I love with all my heart and soul. I lost my dear husband suddenly eleven years ago. He was riding an ATV while climbing a hill and lost control causing fatal injuries to his skull and neck. Our son was seven at the time. I was only twenty eight. Devastated and heartbroke I moved with hopes of a peaceful life. Not knowing what dangers were ahead I ended up in an abusive relationship with an alcoholic. This ended five years ago when he walked out on our family and my little girl who was three at the time. Have not seen nor heard from him since. We were not married which I feel is a blessing for we are safe now. I have many concerns and worries for our family. I have been takin for everything that I had and am hanging on for dear life to keep our home and my in home childcare that I have done for eighteen years now. I am in despare searching for help to care for our family and all that are a part of my life. I am a christain woman and work hard to care and provide for our family but now that my survivors benefits ended June twenty -first 2006 and my son will lose his when he graduates May of 2009. I only wish for the best in providing a good home and education for my children. And most important of all LOVE. My little girl Katie is eight years old now and struggles with several medical conditions. She is being seen by several specilist with hopes of finding an answer to why she has all these problems with her health. She has emotional Anxiety. Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Intestinal Spasms, Asthma, Allergies(seasonal and food), Stomache Migranes, Headaches, Acid reflux, Joint Pain(Pronated and flat feet), Requires specially made orthotics to help support her feet to decrese knee, leg and foot pain, High Fevers, Chronic Infections and High Cholesterol. She is on several medications which scares me so. She always says Mommy I wish they wold find out what is wrong with me I am tired and I don't feel good. They at one time thought she had Celiac Disease and put her on a Gluton Free Diet. Major jump in grocery bill. Now they have her seeing a Matabolic Doctor that specializes in Genetic Disorders at Riley Hospital for Children. She has several specialist ther. They feel she has a rare genitic disorder that affects one of her enzymes called Fabry Disease. They are trying to get insurance authorization to cover her test. We have all grown weary and hope and pray everyday for an answer. In the meantime the financial crises our family is in frightens us so. If we lose our home, I lose my job and have no where to go. I have exhausted all my resources and am searching further with hopes of guidance and help for our family. My children have lost so much in there lives and I do not want them to lose the only safe place they know. I know with your knowledge that you may be able to guide us in the right direction. I am running out of time and dont know what to do. Please help our family to find an answer. Sincerely Deanna

Hi, I know you are very busy and ,may not have time to read this, but I will try anyways... I am 35 years old, and like many have now lost my home as well. I lost my mother when I was 16 and recently my father to cancer ( in June). I am grateful for my children but I am so depressed sometimes, and I don't smile much. That's why when I watch your show I feel better. Just seeing the energy you have makes me smile as well. Keep up the good work and keep making us laugh....Alicia

WHATS UP ELLEN I WATCH YOUR SHOW EVERY DAY UNLESS I VOLUNTEER AT THE ANIMAL SHELTER IM MYRTLE BEACH, SC. THEN I HAVE TO TAPE YOUR SHOW. WELL I TRY NOT TO MISS YOU. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Hey Ellen,
I love you like a fat kid loves cake, but I don't get the affection you have for that ego-maniac Kanye West. It seems to me that a person can be talented and driven without being so obviously full of themselves. His song was really boring to me and I love rap/hip-hop/r&b,etc. I just don't see why he can't be more humble and likeable. Honesty is a good thing, but tact and humility are also admirable qualities in a person and a man. Thanks for listening.
