I would love to be on your show and would love to have you help me raise some funds for a organization that is close to your heart Project Cuddles. Say HI to your mom and continue with the things you do best. Keeping us laughing and dancing. Smile and continue to vote no on Prop #8.Dorolei Paschal LPN

Hi Ellen & Staff-
I wanted to take a moment and Thank you and your staff for what a wonderful show you put together. I have had a rough 2008, I was recently let go from my job and went through 2 IVF cycles and on the fist attempt I had an Ectopic Pregnancy and it ruptured and I almost lost my life from loss of blood and I lost my baby at 7 weeks and then the 2nd time I tried this August and it did not take. I went and am currently recoverying from all this but your show really puts a smile on my face and makes me forget all the things negative and focus on the positive. I get tears in my eyes for all the good you do for everyone and makes me feel hope when I felt like there was no hope left. Your writers and producers and you are very special and I truly am grateful and thankful for all the inspiration and happiness you spread !! Thanks for all the laughs through hard times !

Love Ya All-
Andrea J Carter

Ellen,
I don't know that you'll ever see this but for your staff that does, I hope they let you know how much joy you bring to people's life. Through this difficult world we live in right now, you bring sunshine and hope just by making everyone SMILE! Although, I probably will never get the chance to see you in person, I'm glad that your path crossed mine, even if it was through the airway. Your kindness and inspiration gives each person you touch a sense of hope; the ability to believe that all things are possible. I'm sure you have heard this over and over from many people, but just having the opportunity to say THANK YOU for making me be a little more giving; a little more understanding and most of all...to know that everyday I wake up...when I think of you and your show I saw the day before and the one I look forward to everyday..I have a SMILE on my face that just makes my day start off in a positive way. It's contagious Ellen, and if I'm lucky enough to change one person's life by being a little more giving, kinder or understanding; then I know it's because of how I have seen it from what you do. You make people want to be better people and I can't think of anything grander than that!

I love this song!!! My radio station plays it all the time! I sing along to it... well try! lol no one else is in the car.. so its safe! makes me happy... love this song!

Ellen, I know this will never make it to you, or to air. I watched your show today and I felt compelled to write about this election. I support gay marriage. And I have never been in politics until this year and just registered to vote because it is so important. I have watched every debate since there were 12 people on each side. And I firmly believe that if this country wants a real hero and real change, then Dr. Ron Paul should be our only choice. People in this country should be encouraged to write in Ron Paul. He is the only candidate, that from the beginning, said, "Let's talk about the value of our dollar." He believes that states have the right to make laws regarding gay marriage and abortions, and that the federal government should concentrate on federal issues. He is a strict believer in our constitution and truly the best man for the job. He wants all of us to have rights and to keep our rights. I encourage you and others to research him before it's too late. He had the foresight years ago about the situation in Georgia that happened recently. Americans should not choose a candidate that has been picked by the government and the media. They should choose a candidate that does care about this country and has a firm grasp on the economic situation. And Gladys likes him, what more could you ask for?

Jay, you're what's wrong America. This country is founded on the idea that we have freedoms. That includes everyone and should most certainly include the freedom to love who you love. Marriage is some made up thing that the church uses to control the masses anyway. You should be with whom ever you love and if you are a believer in God, then you should know it is not your right to judge others.

Ellen I love your show and I use to see your show every day at 3pm in Calif now I live in texas and continue waching your show I think your the perfect candidate for a talk show I hope that more people would be happy like you are and take life with such a possitive attitude.

Ellen, Do you ever think you will see George? You have given it the old collage try that is for sure. I am beginning to wonder where he hinds out. Oh and by the way, you haven't called Gladys lately, I sure hope she is well these days.
Please sign me up for the 12 days giveaways. I have been trying to get tickets for the show by have not had any luck. I don't live in Calif but I surely would make the drive. Love ya.

i want to mr. jay's message below. do you know what marriage is all about? why do you think gays cant love like straights? our times are changing and in that matter what our "four fathers" wrote should be changed. we accept our politicians to steal from us, illegal immarants having more than we could ever dream and our rights being ripped from us, but you cant acknowledge that a gay can love like you. marriage is just a ring, piece of paper and also a social acceptance, but far most something that should be taken seriously and to be sincere. im married right now and if my husband took as seriously as ellen i would have a better marriage but i will never divorce and pray it only gets better. so grow up, look around and realize how stupid you and many others are being about this whole marriage thing. if an illegal can come in and marry a citizen to become legal then why cant legals, who might be gay, that acctually know the true meaning of marriage be married?

I do live in CA and I am one of the ones going to vote NO on 8. I feel everyone has the same right no matter who they fall in love with. My 13 yr old daughter asked me how I was voting and I told her and explained that everyone is the same no matter if there gay or straight. It is like saying someone cant get married because of there race.and all you hear is god doesn't make gay people and they shouldn't have any rights. Well that's wrong and for teaching in our schools I personally would rather have my children learning the right way about gays instead of in some houses or other means where all they hear are negative and vulgar things. How do you think the children of gay parents feel when they all they hear are you are not normal and neither are your parents. It has to stop and just except everyone for who they are and our world would be a lot better off for it.

Hi Ellen. While I don't live in California (I live up the street in Washington), I totally back your efforts with Proposition 8. I will never understand how love between two adults can be wrong. Pffttt! I wish you and Portia a lifetime of happiness!

Well Jay our founding fathers said all men were created equal and we are still ignoring that one!!

Hi Ellen, I haven't seen your show for today, but I'm recording it because I'm at the library on line sending you a shout out! Love you, the show the dunk tank for the breast cancer cure ( I am a 2yr. surviver) and especially AWE SNAP! Cracks me up!

I watch your show every morning and wish I could get a prize like the audience does and get tickets to your show but I don't have the gas to drive there for your show if I did I woukd drive there to see you cause I love to watch your show every morning I live in Memphis Tn but will drive there just to see you

Hi Ellen. just watched the beginning of your 10/22 show..I don't live in Calif.,but if I did, I'd certainly vote NO to prop.8! You certainly have the right outlook! My son was gay..I knew long before he "came out".My belief is that if a person is happy w/who they are,and who they're with..their lifestyle preference shouldn't matter! We are ALL God's children!!! I will pray that the Ca. voters make the right choice! Thanx Ellen, for the light you bring to the world!
