Dear Ellen,

I am poor and cannot afford to buy my son Timmy (aged 9) a console for Christmas.

Please could you send me a PlayStation 3 and a copy of LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resistance 2 as it would be a dream come true.

Don't worry about the Xbox 2.5, I would rather have a true HD gaming console.

Love,

Betty J

My god at all the people looking for handouts. You people have no shame. If you can't afford a 199$ system how are you going to afford 60$ games.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer when i was 29 years old, now 8 years later I have been diagnosed with breast cancer again...after 3 surgeries, 6 rounds of chemo and 7 weeks of radiation I am happy to say I am a survivor once again...thank-you for doing all u do to help support this cause. Keep dancing, my 2 year old runs to the tv no matter what he is doing when you come on...Miranda

Hi Ellen, I came home from marching band practice telling my brother about how my band directors house was broken into, and how his television and XBOX was stolen. He is a great band director who dedicates most of his time to the Santa Fe High School band, he is also the smartest person I know and teaches Algebra II. He did not deserve to have his home broken into. Coincidentally, about 5 minutes after I told my brother about this, you gave away XBOXs to your entire audience. Just thought I would share this coincidental story with you, Thanks for your time, Tara

Hola ellen, que envidia pero de la buena y donde esta mi xbox que buen regalo a un dia de hallowen..chao..

A Kid Rock Halloween costume! That was excellent, Ellen!

I think I’ll play that tune again, one more time…

Love ya!

Helen.......... love your show and the your wife.
You make a GREAT couple!!!!
The FREE XBOX give away was a smash. What did Microsoft have to say about this???? You really boosted the Christmas rush for them.

Anyway.....the reason I'm sending you this is.........I'm the mom that has ALL the toys for the kids. All the kids in the neighbourhood gather at my house and play for hours.

I go to garage sales and pick up extra bikes for all ages to play with and scooters. My husband gets angry at me for buying so much junk as he would say.
I love seeing all the kids playing and laughing and getting along.
I don't mind using my house to do it at either. I by a ton of pumpkins at halloween and get the neighbourhood kids over to help carve them.
What I don't have though is that "SNAP" game you do.
I was watching the two girls today on your show bobbing for apples with them and I was laughing my butt off.
I would love something like that for the kids around here.
If you can't send me a set, can youPLEASE tell me how to make them?
These kids would have a blast with them.
Did I mention we often have whip cream fights????
The kids just love thatalso.
I load up two huge trays with whip cream and let the kids go crazy.

Anyway, what ever you can do about the SNAP things would be greatly appreciated.

All the best to you and your family.
Keep dancing.....great for the soul.

Hi great show just like every one before it. There are alot of people who dont have things like cable or satellite TV where they get to see your show in nice High Definition (any size screen) with or without commercials you know that tivo thing maybe. But wireless Internet off your neighbors and most any game system like the xbox360 does help ease the pain caused from not having any television service. I'll continue to catch bits of your shows while I surf the web because It was a very hard recovery from being a TV junkie. Now if my neighbors move........

Hi Ellen,

I'm a single mom with a son and daughter attending Community College. I could not afford to send them to a University, nor did they receive a scholarship. I am very proud of my children because they are very loving and caring and want to please their mother always. They work hard and do all they can to help me financially and I would love to give them a x-box 360 to show my appreciation, and especially them receiving a gift from the Ellen show would be outstanding. Whether it's now or for Christmas. If not an x-box360, can I get 2-4 tickets to come on your show before the end of the year? I watch your show as often as I can. I'll even watch your show before watching Oprah. I can watch your show no matter of your guest because I think you are funny, delightful and entertaining, smart too! I like Oprah a lot, but I have to know who's going to be her guest, then I'll make my decision. Ellen, I really want the x-box 360, but really I'll take whatever you give me because all your gifts are excellent and I can use or need them all, so it really doesn't matter. I just want to win a GIFT FrOM ELLEN!!! Now that would be a WOW! My daughter would be very very happy and my son would be astonished! He thinks these TV shows aren't all that... he thinks it wired/fixed. I would love for you to show him different! To win something from your show would be the BOMB!!! With the x-box360 or plasma TV .// he would EXPLODE!!
Hope to meet you one day!

What a fantastic giveaway.
It's like Christmas for Halloween!
I wonder what Halloween item will be
given away for Christmas.
If any X-box were left is it possible
to attain one.
Thanks so much!
Looks like with each couple of years
there are better and more efficient
ways to detect breast cancer. Keep
the faith in finding a cure!!
Take care!
Stephen

Hello Ellen,
I too would love a xbox, it would help me get thru the long Canadian Winters.

Take care, god bless.

Truly,

Ellen...I was upset to begin with when I watched todays show (as I watch you EVERY DAY!) because I had finally gotten tickets to see you and this was the show I was supposed to be at. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances I was unable to attend and it broke my heart. What was even worse was when I saw that all of your audience members were lucky enough to get XBox's (very very nice of you by the way). My son Brendan watces your show with me and he almost started crying. He is 12 years old and has an old Nintendo 64 as his only gaming system. As a single mom the funds just aren't there to upgrade his system. He asked me if I would have given the system to him had I made it to the show...of course I said yes. I wouldn`t usually ask but it would bring me great joy if there would be any way you could give one to Bren...since I can`t.

Thank you regardless...and I still hope someday I`ll make it to see your show.

Hi Ellen, I have to say I think you have a great sense of humor. So make me laugh and give me an X-box. I would love to give one to my twin boys. This single mom could use a wonderful laugh and gift like that. But if not thats okay, I just enjoy seeing the faces of your audience when you surprise them with gifts. You must get a wonderful feeling from that. Keep on blessing.

Wow, that was super sweet of you to give away 360s. With oil prices still high, the 360 is a much better alternative to heating your home for how much hot air it puts out. It should last them for a good couple of weeks before it's needed to get fixed. And at least you gave the people the choice of what size HDD would fit them more so they can go throw down $100+ on what they need pending how much gaming they do.

SORRY, I DON'T HAVE A SAD STORY TO SHARE--I WOULD JUST LIKE A XBOX 360.

Ellen"""" You are the best'''''u rock my world!!!!In my wildest dream i really do wish i could be in your in show,am really far from you but seeing you on my TV set takes me to my dream land. You are my role model and i hope someday before i die i will have the opportunity to attend your show and meet with you in person.
I Love you.
Lara
