I am so glad to see a democrat as president. I lost my house I was buying to foreclosure. I then rented a house that was full of mold. We had to leave that house. Got another house and my husband got laid off. He can not get another job because he has a bad back and takes 300 pain pills a mouth and cannot pass a drug test. They tell him he would be a liability. Right now Im living without water. Next week it will be my phone. I will be homeless Dec. 1 because i have not been able to pay rent for two months. I blame this all on the republicans (Bush). Thank God for Obama. People need to forget about the color of a person and thank god for a future. love ya, patty

at first i wanna say that you are such a great person. you are my role model and you make my day, everyday ;)
making people laugh should be one of the highest arts, i think. it's so difficult and so so so important at the same time.
i also wanna say that i am so proud of America because of voting Barack Obama for president! and i feel so sorry for every gay couple because their right to marry in california has been taken away. i couldn't believe it. it's just insane. i totally agree with you, ellen, keith olbermann, george clooney and many other people out there, who know that we should support love and not destroy it.
but what i actually wanted to say was, that i would be sooo happy if there will be another dvd of your show. that would be sooo great!

On a more serious note, CHANGE is in the air! This is an exciting time to be alive and an exciting time to be an American! I am excited to take part in this time in our history, and I know we are at a pivotal point in the American story. Although Prop 8 was devastating to many, I am certain that the wings of change will continue to fly in the right direction. Keep smiling, keep fighting, and know that when you ask yourself, "Can we break down the barriers of hate?" Know that the answer is, "YES WE CAN!"
Thank you, Ellen, for being who you are and doing what you do. You certainly make the world a better place and you brighten each and every one of my week days. I hope that you know how special you are and the joy that you bring to everyone you reach...whether it be in person or through your show.

iam very excited and amazed personally the way God does his things. there are people who dint believe this opportunity would come obama's way. it has changed most of us in africa who are stil fighting for tribalism and politics. this will also unit us.

Hardy Drew Irish Obama Song....
Check out the Irish Obama song....clips of the new President dancing with Ellen...very cool. Apparantly Barack has Irish roots to Moneygall, Co Offaly and a lot of Irish people were rooting for him. I moved from Dublin to Kitchener Ontario Canada 11 years ago, Canadians too are behind him. Congrats to all Americans for making the right choice. He has a hard job ahead of him but if anyone can do it, he can. I think he will have the same effect on the world that President Kennedy had and the same charm and Charisma. Ellen, you are doing a brillient job and I look forward to your show everyday, you make a lot of people very happy. Bono and George are friends!!!! Ask Bono to help....

l may not be american,but l am very happy that barack obama was elected the 44th president of the united states l hope he will make a big change and be a fare person.It takes Gods grace to actually be able to last that long in a campain and l hope and pray God gives his exellency the perfect decions to make.God bless
