Not sure what's wrong with "Donald Duck" and "Jeannie" but you seriously need counseling.

Thank you America for voting and THANK YOU Hollywood for getting in touch with the YOUTH to go out and Vote! At least, you have made a difference!
Thank you Ellen for airing this!

I am deeply saddened that you would choose this venue to air your opinions about something that is such a personal issue for Ellen. I can only assume you are a fearful and hateful person. You could have gone anywhere else to voice your opinion but you chose here, in order to be controversial. I should not even be responding to you, but I found myself unable to not address your post. I hope I am the only one that did not have enough willpower to ignore you and your ignorance. Let me guess, you support a mans right to have 14 wifes also right? give me a break.

I'm Canadian but I attended an American University. While I was in University George Bush was running for President (the 1st time).
I have to tell you that no one I spoke to wanted him to win.
Then...the re-count. No one thought that Bush would actually win. When he was declared the President everyone around me was shocked and not happy. I was completely shocked that he was elected for a second term.

Anyway, it is important for everyone to vote.
One vote can make a difference.

Hopefully the American people will see this video and think about it. I also hope they look into each candidate first. A vote shouldn't be based on skin colour or gender. It should be done because you believe in the potential of the candidate.

outside looking in

"F..." you all, this is a good message, in my counttry 90 % of the people voyes, so, believme, you need those kinds of little movies to get in the game, 'cause if your not in the game, remember, U CAN PLAY! LOVE YOU ELLEN

Well Leonardo I sat and listen to your whole little
don't vote thing. How sad that not once did you or
anyone else say check out your candidates first and see if they are who you want running our country.
How irresponsible of all of you to try and get the votes of young people to do or should I say put in
office who you want. Even thou you don't say names
the message is there for all to hear /loud and clear. Try being responsible for your actions for once holly wood!! Or do you need a script for that?

Leonardo, I want to thank you for having all those
A listers in your mini movie, now I no who not to go see at the movies, or buy their movies, or their cd's. Now I no who the democratic are in holly wood and I thank you, I no I'm only one person but sometimes that's all it takes - one person at a time to say enough is enough. All of you have the money, house's, cars and all the food you can eat. While they are so many people that are homeless, why don't you get on the band wagon for them??? I guess if you are poor and homeless with nothing- you don't need them??? Why don't all of you put your money where your mouth is and help where the most help is needed??? It's not as thou he will let any of you sleep in the big house if he makes it. So how does it feel to be used?? Oh wait he's not in yet, I guess this is a to be continued - stay tuned to see if they get to see the inside of the white house. To be or not to be used that is the question that I ask of thee.

i have to agree with Ariane.
i am not American, nor have i ever visited the US- but i DO care about this election and who the next President is.

the amount of people that i know that do/did not vote and complain about their government or leader is ridiculous. if you don't vote you don't even attempt to change (or keep in power) a particular party or person. they were informed, they just didn't do anything about it-so why should they complain?

personally i believe that Obama IS the change that the US needs- that the world needs for that matter.

i think it is great that celebrities are getting behind promotion campaigns to encourage people to vote, because the reality is that they do influence a significant number of people.

registering to vote is EMPOWERING.
get informed. make a difference. vote.

Wow you two are just bundles of joy aren't you!

To "anonymous":
1/ It's a joke.
2/ I think the word you are looking for is "egotistical".
3/Just go vote.

To "Donald Duck of Rehab County":
You might not care who is president, but people in the US do care. Whether you like or dislike the way the campaigns have been handled is irrelevant here. The point is to get people to vote, to not get discouraged (the wait is long), and to get the younger voters (who, yes, are sometimes influenced by celebrities) to get out and vote because each one counts.
You say you would vote McCain, and continue going to your Anti-American war marches? Hmmm... you sure you've been following from the beginning? Because seems to me you haven't been listening.

Anyway, I voted yesterday, feels good! Go do it!

Plus, all the cool people are doing it.

Please.......do you people not know how egoic that sounds!

The election is less than a week away. I think it’s the most important election in our lifetime and I think we should all vote. Plus, all the cool people are doing it.

President Robert Mugabe election farce is nothing compared with these American elections. I have never seen such an election conducted in the most dishonest way. The world is watching alright, we basically don't care if it is going to be McCain or Obama, we just want Bush to go. And if McCain or Obama becomes President..it will be 100% better than Bush. But either of them want stop me from going on my anti-American war marches, whoever the President is. Bush has damaged America and it will take years before America is trusted again. I don't trust Obama..I don't trust McCain. But I will tell you something, if I could vote and after following these elections from day one. I would vote McCain then hope and pray for a third party. When the UK elections arrive I will be voting for the Green Party.

As for celebs points of view..when has a celeb been taken seriously. There ok whatever happens..they have the money. 99% of the celebs are airheads and are only in it for publicity. And as for the media, pundits, my god what a bunch of biased crackpots. Ratings Ratings..Remember the names of these channels, media, pundits for the next elections. Weed out the rubbish and get back to honest reporting.

I tell you something I have noticed in me that is..is that if I am down..I now say to myself "cheer up at least your not American" After saying that..I do cheer up.

Anyway, I still say to this day that Hillary Clinton would have made an excellent President.
