Ellen Says Vote Yes on California Prop 2

The election is almost here, and I want to make everyone aware of a proposition on the ballot here in California.

In this state, when animals are raised for food, a lot of them are crammed into cages so small they can’t even move. I should warn you that the images of these cages are disturbing, but it’s important to me to help get this message out.

Please vote “Yes” on Proposition 2, and help improve conditions for these animals.

Thank you so very much Ellen for giving this incredibly important Proposition the attention it deserves! These animals live in agony for their entire lives and thanks to caring people like you, they have a chance of living in more humane conditions, thank you for helping give them a voice Ellen! This day is long overdue, but soon, I pray these animals will have some hope of a more pleasant existance.

Thank you again Ellen..

The best and easiest thing we can all do is to stop supporting these factory farms by not buying meat, eggs, and dairy products. Send them a message and do your body a favor and go vegan. You'd be surprised how creative you can get with vegetables, fruits, beans, and grains, etc. I've been living a vegan life for over four years and feel so good about it. I wish everyone could experience it!

Wow, that is so cruel. Those poor animals. How would those people feel if they were treated like that? Something that most people don't understand is that animals feel pain and hurt just like we do. I will definately vote YES on Prop 2! Love you Ellen!

It is heartbreaking, and very real, this cruel treatment to living, feeling animals. They feel, hunger, thirst, and we are selfish and greedy if we observe this footage, and do not take any action. It is time for the world to see what goes on. I am a strong supporter of PETA, and if you go to peta.com, you will see where more of our help is desparately needed

this is so sad. I can't believe someone can actually sleep at night after treating these animals in this manner. this is horrible, horrible and it needs to stop immediately

Oh Ellen, Thank you so much for enlightening me about the conditions under which these poor animals exist, for to say they 'live' is a gross injustice to them and to any form of the word "life".
It is enough to make me never eat meat again of any kind.
I will be sure all I meet know about this terrible situation.
God Bless you,

Ellen,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for airing a cause that is in dire need of attention & support! My friends & I have been fighting for years to get something done about this horrible, sickly inhumane treatment of farm animals. Even though your show only touched the tip of the iceberg, it's a start! The things some of the employees do to the animals isn't fit for daytime T.V. & it's time people stop hiding their heads in the sand about it. There are undercover videos from years ago, that have just begun to surface. It's a problem we as Americans need to address & demand an end to.
Thank you.
