too many things to write!!!
Short version--
My son Michael and I quote you all the time You are one of our favorites!!
He is in Afghanistan and today is thanksgiving and also his 23rd birthday (as a matter of fact one of the bthday cards i sent him had a pic of a deer beside a brook and i wrote "Ohhh if i only had a gun" beside the pic of deer refering to your standup routine about camping!! hahaha love that !!!
I was wondering and thinking about writing and have no clue if this is even the right place to send a message but..
Do you have anyway of finding out WHY they always show the soldiers in Iraq sending shout outs to home over the holidays??? It makes me sad that our men and women in Afghanistan semm to be forgotten!!
I live on Cae Cod in Massachusetts and i have gone out in my community and asked for help to support his unit and you cannot believe how everyone has come together to help.
I started 3 weeks ago and already we have shipped out over 300lbs of things they need/want !!!
I recieved an email from his commander and it was all about how thrilled thay are with getting what we send!
Hopefully you will get this--but i imagine you get thousands a day-- just giving it a shot
Ya know that skit (?) you do about how your parents gave you to the indians and years later came to get you back??? hilarious, well Michael quoted that the other day--- he has been in the ARMY going on 3 years now, and he called from Afghanistan the other day and said (about joining) "i was just kidding" LOL I knew what he meant--he was doing ELLEN again!

I have a friend named Debbie if you see this and read it say hello Debbie while you are on air. She watches Oprah everyday but now she is going to start watching your show to see if you say hi, lets convert her whatta say. She swears you won't say hi to her, but if you do, she will definitely be a fan for life!!!

I have lived in San Diego all my live, but I and my dog (Molly) have recently moved to Perth, Australia to be with my partner. Ellen, this might be silly, but have you heard of webkinz? Well, there stuffed plush pets and there are over 50 different types of webkinz! They have Dogs to Cats to Frogs to Horses. They have many. Well, each webkinz has a “secret code”. That secret code is different for each one. You go to: www.webkinz.com, and you would click on “new member” if you don’t have an account. Mrs. Birdy, the Adoption Center’s Assistant, helps you through the process. You name it, choose if it’s a boy or a girl. You after design a room, chat with friends using a safe KinzChat, which is so safe; you can not type a word! There’s only certain phrases and words to choose from, so it’s very safe. You can’t even put any personal info out! You get to play Arcade games, play with “kinz pals” in the Tournament Arena, or help Arte discover rare gems in the Curio shop. I was writing for the around the world contest. I would very much like you to visit my town of Dayton, OH. You see, I am getting married on June 28th and although my hubby-to-be has a large family, I do not. I don't have parents and was raised by my siblings so I am terribly worried that my side of the church will be pathetic in numbers. I think if you visited my town and attended my wedding there would be one more seat filled on my side of the church. Please don't let me appear like a pathetic loser at my wedding!

Every mornings I wait and look at the clock for your show, first thing I got coffee and sit to watch you. I had enjoy to watch your shows. Hi I watch your shows they are amazing. I noticed you have a very big heart I just wanted to share something with you maybe you can help me out. I been seeing this guy thats 24 years old he has a slight case of Cerable palsy. He lives with his grandparents. he has had a very rough life mainly because of crule heartless people who judge him on his disability and it breaks my heart because he is so sweet and caring. He wants to be indapendent but is having a rough time doing so. He cant drive because he needs a specile car and he is on a fixed income and cant aford it so he depends on others to get him place to place. I would love to find away to make something work to start off a new and better life for him it would be wonderful. If you have any ideas please let me know

Olah Ellen, I need a job. This is the first time in my life when I need something to do. The kids have left home, Iam unemployed,Ived moved from Nevada to Tennesse and to top it all off our cat Bobby Ray ran away from home last week, I am very talented, a jack of all trades, master of none, witty, hard worker. I think it would be a good idea if you would let me be on your show as a unemployed assistant, who knows,maybe other talk shows may want me on their show. Tell me what you think. We have been trying for the entire year to get tickets to the 12 Days of Christmas. Kept telling us to wait - wait and wait. Well we punched in everyday and finally December popped up and it would not let us click on. This is the third year of trying. What does it take to get into the system for those days.
We call ourselves the Golden Girls from Orange County. Age from 58-71 and we love to travel and do fun things. Our biggest wish is to be at your show to enjoy the Holidays.
Let me know what it takes to get there.

On the morning shows they show the soldiers in IRAQ saying hello to loved ones back home here, but i don't see the soldiers in Afghanistan??? (where my son is)
Why is there no coverage from there??
