Hi Ellen I love your show and I think that you should have the Cheetah Girls on your show I think that it would be really cool. And I hope that you had a very nice weeding I have always wanted to meet you one of my friends from camp was named after you. Momma elephant Rose-Tu's baby boy was born Aug. 23 but the little Asian elephant still doesn't have a name — and the Oregon Zoo in Portland is asking for your help in choosing one.

Everyone has until Thursday (5pm) coming to go online at the Oregon Zoo web site to submit his name. The baby elephant is apparantly a "good eater".

I actually thought of submitting the name "Ellen", but I read it was a baby boy elephant, I don't know what the male version of Ellen is. Then I thought of Andy (producer) but then I thought that name was too common. So, I have decided the name "Poe".

Sorry, read this all wrong, according to the website, they have decided on five names, but it is up to you which one you like!! Here are the names:

Amul: Hindi for "priceless, of inestimable worth."

Bao: Chinese for "precious treasure."

Duc: (rhymes with hook or look): Vietnamese for "good, moral, desire." (Also is a portion of former Trail Blazer Kevin Duckworth's name, honoring the late basketball player.)

Hugo-Tu: This name honors the baby's mother, Rose-Tu, and maternal grandfather, Hugo. Hugo comes from the Germanic word for "mind, heart or spirit" and Tu is Vietnamese for "tree."

Samudra (nickname Sam): Hindi for "lord of the ocean." (The calf loves his baths!)

Now that I have read the names, I have got no option but to go with "Duc"!!
