Just when I was starting to think that "Clooney Watch '08" might be dead in its tracks, much to my delight I witnessed today's "major development"! I am a HUGE Clooney fan, and today's near capture, er, I mean detainment, of George renewed my hopes that he will soon be on your stage, sending the sexiness level of Sexy Season Six through the roof!

I gotta tell ya though, Ellen, that I'm not surprised that your trap, er, I mean "temporary restraining device" malfunctioned -- after all, you are up against a world-class prankster when you're dealing with Clooney, and I'd be very suspicious of this so-called "malfunction," if I were you....

Since I'm also a HUGE fan of yours, I'd like to offer my help in catching (oops, "detaining") George. I'm thinking maybe a little added weight to the device you have rigged up might just do the trick, and I would be more than happy to hang out in there waiting for George for as long as you'd like. If he shows up again, I could either swoop down and nab him, or using the existing device as a decoy by calling out a friendly greeting to George to distract him just long enough for a second, hidden device to nab him -- whaddaya think? If this suggestion doesn't sound good to you (or your lawyers), I recommend you keep piling up the goods -- he loves the Cincinnati Reds and Italian food, for starters....
