I cannot believe that you made that poor writer that you just hired stand on that stage for the entire show just because she didn't carry out a stupid stunt you required of her at the Emmy's. How humiliating that must have been. If I was her....I would go back to Saturday Night Live! I used to be a big fan...not anymore. I will now watch The Dr. Phil Show each day.

can´t you find a lawyer for family-law who does her work pro bono? Over here in germany we have it. I think Ellen can do a lot, but you need soemeone who shows you how you can help yourself, that is much better instead of begging others. Try it Bridget or go to an organization for single moms in your town in ehich you live.

I watch your show regularly. I want to say congrats on the wedding. I need some advice or a direction. I am a single mom. I have 2 boys that live with me and my 8 yr old daugher who lives with her dad. I just feel like a complete failure and don't know how to get things moving in the right direction. I was out of work with no pay for a month while my boys passed strep and a stomach virus back and forth. When i get back to work they tell me the doctor they had seen hadn't faxed in the paper work and so my time wasn't covered with fmla time. I am now sitting here with no money an eviction notice, and no job. I have gone to local agencies in my area for employment and help with our finacial needs. (did i mention i have no luck either) I was able to get food stamps but no help with money or housing. I did talk to a mortage compy willing to help but i have to have 300.00 and a steady job. I just don't understand the world. Why can't you be a good parent without being punished. I don't know whether to scream or cry. I feel so lost can't you help?

Has anyone ever told you that you look like Ignatius Thistlewhite from Rankin/Bass's The Year Without A Santa Claus? I think the resemblance is uncanny! Check him out! If the talk show gig gets old you could moonlight as him in the Legends in Concert in Las Vegas.

Just watching your show Sept. 23, 2008. I think you oversteped your boundaries by letting the little skunk out of the Live Trap. I too love animals but due to the fact that it was a Live Trap I believe that whoever set the Live Trap was planning on releasing the skunk to a different location. Just my personal opinion.

Dear Ellen, I think you people in hollywood should keep your political views to yourselves. I just turned your show off after listening to Sharon Osborne talking about Sarah Palin. Keep your views to yourselves and stop trying to sway people to the left. I really loved your show. But from now on your show is off my list! Let the people make up their own minds!!
