Ellen~
I love you and your show!!!!! Congrats to you and Portia!
I hope you will have Gov. Sarah Palin on as a guest!
HI ELLEN - CONGRATS TO YOU & PORTIA. I HAVE BEEN BUSY RUNNING FROM GUSTAV & BACK FOR THE LAST WEEK SO I MUST HAVE MISSED INFO SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY. BELIEVE ME I LOVE TONY - BUT I ALSO LOVED STRIKER. WHAT HAPPENED? WHERE DID HE GO? WATCH YOU EVERY DAY EXCEPT WHEN RUNNING FROM HURRICANES. THIS WEEK IT'S IKE. HOPE WE CAN STAY HOME.
I am so excited that your show is back tomorrow...seems like forever since I have seen it.....I sure hope you are going to get something (like $$$) for suggesting those Japanese TV shows that are now coming to our TV's....I know you will be watching them....
Hope you and Portia are having a very blessed Sunday...
Thanks for putting Duran Duran's bonus song on the web. It was great!! I met the guys on an airplane once. They were really nice. Looking forward to the new season of your show.

This is in response to a post re: Michelle Obama coming on your show from a Rindy Palmer.
Are you seriously thinking of not watching Ellen's show because Obama's wife is appearing on the show? I have to say that is really, really petty. Ellen wants to bring people together and her show is a GREAT platform for doing so. I understand your feelings about Hilary. I to wanted Hilary to get the nomination. However, it's time for this country to come together. Hilary didn't get the nom. Let's move on and PRAY that we get someone in the white house who will CARE about the people of this country. Let's work together!!! Let's make this country better!! Togetherness is the key. Please don't stop watching Ellen's show, with all the love and laughter it brings to you. It would be a sad day if you stopped watching. :)
I have always been a fan of Ellens. I am so upset and disappointed that she would even consider having Mrs Obama on her show. This womans husband stole the nomination from Hillary Clinton . I can not think of any other human I dislike as much as this man and his wife. How could you invite them onto your show? I am sorry but I will not be watching this show again.
I just watched your broadcast of Stand up 2 Cancer and as a cancer survivor X3, I want to thank you for standing with us against this worldwide predator. Your show is a highlight in so many people's lives, it brings joy and comfort in an otherwise difficult day. Keep doing what you do best, send laughter, love and compassion over the airwaves. Again Thank You,:) Neale
Dearest Ellen,
My name is Kevin.I live in Colorado.I absolutely LOVE your show! It makes me feel good inside when I see others making other people feel good! I have CF(Cystic Fibrosis),and have lived to celebrate my 38th B-day this last May 16th.This last year has been particularly tough on everyone. My dad passed away from prostate cancer April of 2007,then my grandmother the following July. All that is left of my entire family is myself and my mother. Between March and May of this year,I was hospitalized 3 separate times, the second time I was actually inta bated(spelling) and also was comatose for 6 days. I woke up just a couple of days before Mother's Day,and was released on my Birthday(may 16). The reason why I tell you this is simply because I love to make people laugh, and smile! If I can make one person, any person have a better day,I strive to make it possible! JUST LIKE WHAT YOU DO EVERY DAY ON YOUR SHOW! Not only are you one of my (TOP)favorite show hosts,Ellen is my favorite talk show HANDS DOWN! I always know that I'll be laughing and smiling from ear to ear when I turn your show on! And that's something that I definately need more of right now,is to laugh and smile! Currently,I am trying to get on a transplant list to get a new set of lungs, because what I have now isn't cutting it anymore! I've never had the stamina that other kids had while growing up because of my bad lungs, and now it's gravely worse.CF patients are VERY lucky to survive their first year of life, let alone live past 21.I've kept on beating the odds, but it's getting harder and harder. Since that second hospital visit,I am having to be on oxygen 24/7,whereas I was only wearing my oxygen during the night while I slept for the last 9-10 years before. It is truely such a treasure and a priviledge to watch your show every weekday at 3pm! Keep up the great job you're doing!!
HUGS AND KISSES!!! Kevin
Hi Ellen,
I enjoy your show when I am able to watch it. On either your August 4 or August 5, 2008 show you featured an artist who painted a picture of Ray Charles while playing some music. My husband is a graphic artist and is unable to view your show. If he was able to view this part of your show, this would really make his day. Also, one of the art teachers I work with at the school I work at as a teacher assistant is interested in viewing this part of the show again. If you could post a clipping of this part of your show, it would be greatly appreciated.
WOW!!!
Thanks Ellen & Duran Duran !!!!
I really enjoyed this clip!!
You know: I forgot I like Duran Duran. I mean theirs lots of CD's to buy and I have started to make a list... so now that I remmeber HEY!! I like Duran Duran ... I will add them to my list of wanted CD's... or should I say Must Have CD's!
Yes I'm bad.. very bad... but hey! At least I'm honest! Don't hate me 'cause I'm beautiful! lol
I'm adding Duran Duran to my lists!!!
my music list has grown because of you Ellen! Duran Duran was poplular with a friend of mine back in highschool... oh in the '80s! It was her fave band. I can see why! Today.. Duran Duran is one of my faves... even though I admit I don't have a CD of theirs... but that will change!!! SOON!!!
HUgs,
T
I watch your show all the time and love it!
I am hoping you will have Duran Duran on your show again. They will be in Chicago in May for a concert.
Hmmm. And you are going to be in Chicago. Sounds like a plan to me!
Get rid of the ants.
Hot wanter wash rag. It picks them up and run under the faucet and they are gone. Or put out a lid of honey there and they will get on it. Hot water will do the trick. Flushing trick!!!
Ellen have a blessed day.
Hi Ellen,
I am a massage therapist who works at 4 star Kimpton Hotels in the Boston MA area for a national company. I couldn't believe my good fortune when I arrived at The Onyx Hotel last Oct. to massage none other than Simon Le Bon from Duran Duran. Of course, they use an alias and his was Sir Eavis something or other. I can't recall the rest beyond Sir Eavis. When they told me at the main desk who I was massaging, my knees began to rattle, not because I was nervous, but because I was so thrilled and excited! I got to his room and politely introduced myself as I walked in and began to set up and talk with him. He told me that the band was not performing, but getting ready to release the new cd, "Red Carpet Massacre". He requested an 80 minute massage. He was super nice. I didn't fon over him, but went right into my 'professional mode' as I've been trained to do. Now, of course, I feel as though perhaps he was a bit insulted that I wasn't giggly at all, but I wanted him to know that my heart was beating uncontrollably the entire time! WoW! The room was small as they are at The Onyx, but it's a beautiful Hotel. The quarters were close and he towered over me as I manuevered around him preparing to set up for the massage. He liked his feet out of the covers and asked for a lot of work on his gluts! LOL! He has beautiful skin too. He was sweet and believe me, I wish that I could have gotten to know him a little better! I told him how working the gluts was a lot like memories of how my Italian grandmother Irene, who used to knead dough to make her home made bread or pasta.. I said, "funny, how information translates sometimes." I maintained my composure until the very last few minutes of the massage as I did a cupping modality down his back and onto his gluts. It's kind of like slapping, but not really. The pressure comes about from the air that's trapped in the concave of the palm. I laughed a little bit and he said, "a little slap on the bum eh?" "did you like that?" I said, "the question is, did you?" He thoroughly enjoyed his massage and looked very relaxed afterwards. I told him that it was great to meet him as I carted my table and work bag out of his room, not really wanting to leave. Now he should know how I felt that day! I am a huge fan! Thanks for the memories Simon and Ellen!

Ellen... I have to say... I never really took into consideration how great a human you are... knowing that you took the high road and had Sen. McCain on your show despite your lifestyle difference in opinion... I am speechless. Until the "Noprah" 'thing' happened (and I was one of Oprah's greatest fans) I didn't take note until my sister said, "Hey, Ellen had John McCain on!" You ARE what being an American and living in America is all about. WOW! I, too, have differences of opinion as far as gay rights, pro-life, but there are so many issues to consider in this election. I am still riding-the-fence as far as voting this election but actions such as yours is so commendable and should never be taken lightly or for granted. You would have my vote if you ran for election! (smile)
Keep on!
