To TLB and JHC... you really showed your intellect- I applaud you! Neither of you can answer the simple questions laid in front of you. It is fine to want some 'young blood' in the presidency... but, some experienced/accomplished young blood would be much more appreciated!
Spreading the Wealth - is NOT helping America - it is going to turn us into a Marxist America - Capitalism works and it fixes itself- we do NOT need the government to FIX it - the government got us in this mess - and it was NOT GWB - try Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Obama and all of those in bed with Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae! And... do I need to remind you WHO is in charge of our great SENATE/HOUSE??? DEMOCRATS!
OH, and it is great that Obama funded ACORN with $800,000... and now throws them under the bus with all of the voter fraud!!! Get a clue!

This is a wonderful interpretation of a great man. I love the way he is always on his toes about what's going on, in this nation. He has vast knowledge of the past, present, and from the looks of it, a solution to our future. Of course it will be rocky at first, no matter who becomes president, they have to try to undo, what's already been done. People get so caught up on a persons past. Look in the mirror. If you can honestly say, you have a perfect past, then YOU should have ran for president, THEREFORE HAVING MY VOTE.

Obama's 95% Illusion:
One of Obama's most potent campaign claims is that he will cut taxes for no one less than 95% of "working families" What a clever pitch it allows him to pose as a middle class tax cutter while disguising that that he's proposing one of the largest tax increases ever on the other 5%.
For the Obama Democrats a tax cut is no longer letting you keep more of what you earn. In their lexicon a tax cut includes 10's of billions of $ in government handouts that are disguised by the phrase "tax credit" Obama is proposing to create
or expand no fewer than seven such credits for individuals:
- $500 tax credit for "make work pay" that phses out at income of $75,000 for individuals and $150,000 per couple.
-$4,000 tax credit for college tuition
-A 10% mortgage interest tax credit (on top of the the existing mortgage intert deduction and other housing subsidies)
-An expansion of the earned income tax credit that would allow single workers to retain as much as $555 a year up from $175 now, and give these workers up to $1,110 if they are paying child support.
-A child care credit of $50% up to $6,000 of expense per year
-A "Clean Car" tax credit of up to $7,000 on the purchase of certain vehicles.
-A savings tax credit of 50% up to $1,000
Here is the political catch. All but the "Clean Car" tax credit would be "refundable" which is Washington speak for the fact that you can recieve these checks even if you have NO INCOME tax liability. In other words , they are income tax transfer-A federal check from tax payers to Non taxpayers. Once upon a time we called this "welfare"

That is the cutest video ever! Obama is definitely stiff but I love that he doesn't take himself so seriously that he can't let loose and have a little fun!

To LDC, what experience does Obama have to be president? What qualifications did GWB have? Remember (probably not) GWB had to be informed in how the world works by his father former cabinet memebers (Cheney, Baker, Rice, Rumsfeld, Powell) before he took office. Also what ask yourself what qualifications does McCain have? Being a soldider does not necessary make one qualified to be president either, and please, don't let me start on Palin. At least with Obama, he inspires hope in people, a requirement of any leader. He possess the ability of people wanting to follow. He has outlined his agenda if you ever had taken a look at his web-site. And, he gives specifics in how he would pay for his programs. What has McCain given? Insults, lies and the same politics that has defined the Republicans for the past 20 years. So LDC, check your 401(k) and ask yourself; are you and your country better off now than you were 8yrs ago? To me the choice is simple and clear; A new direction or more of the same.

This was a uplifting video. Obama is a person of good character. We all know that no one is perfect, but examine the character flaws and unethical acts of McCain (eg. marital affair-1st wife, and his wife-stealing drugs from her organization and becoming addicted. Palin, currently under investigation for wrong doing while serving as mayor). Come on people. If Obama becomes the president of this country, it was destined to be. It is not my belief that his intention is to destroy our country, which he too is a citizen and which gives him every right to run for president. This man is educated, a charismatic leader and he has surrounded himself with smart people. This is a democracy and if Obama or any other person who serves as president is out of control, becomes a dictator, etc, the country can impeach him.

Just look at our New President! He's not only smart and intelligent, but he's also got some pretty smooth moves. Senator Obama really cares for the American people, and he most definetly has his game on for this election. He's going to make an excellent President. He has my vote!
