I am a 44 year old African American. I love the fact that we, as a race, has come this far. But wake up my fellow "African Americans". Obama may be the first one but he's not the right one. Let's not pick up the first "nut" that falls from the tree.

Obama & McCain.....
Both are mortal men who have beliefs and faults. "Change" is it good or bad? Depends on how you view it and really if you feel it benefits you.

You can not please everyone for all have their on perception of what is good versus bad or fair and unfair.

As far as "color" and "Black King"...
How many of us are of a "pure" nationality? You can pretend if you want to be "blue-veined" and " from royal blood lines". Don't you know that "royality" also have secrets. Besides royalty is not color based. Royalty has to do with family lineage, power/control, and finances.

Sure Obama father was from Kenya however his experiences does not come from the culture of Kenya. He did not grow up with his father. He grew up with his maternal grandparents (scottish, english, Cherokee) and what ever else that no one knows. He grew up in Indonesia that has a mixture of cultures also. So...how much of the "black culture" does he identify with? Does that really matter?

This is not about color for me...
It is about learning how both canadates view the current state of affairs and what their plans are to make the USA fair for all (poor & wealthy).

It about the $$$! When all is said and done who really is in contol of change...?

I am 46 years old and I remember having to sit on the back of the bus with my grandmother traveling from one state to another. It is sooo sad that racism still exist today, America need to wake up and put the ugly demon of racism in the back.

Obama is my candidate of choice only because I feel that he will make a change in the White House. I could see Biden and Obama working together to making this country a better place to live in.

I respect McCain for serving our country I was in the military, my husband and now my son is on his second deployment in Iraq. McCain is trying to take us back to the old ways of the military.. It is easy for McCain to talk but the young men and women who are serving live in a different position when he was a POW. In Iraq they kill first and asked questions later.

My personal feeling is for the world to hate less and try to see the best in each other.

Why does it alays come down to COLOR with African Americans????? Yes, slaverly was evil and never should have been allowed it's a period in our countries history in whick most hard working Americans are not proud of. First of all, your newborn "BLACK KING" is half white so that makes Obama a mix of two races. Why bring color into it when that is not the message of peace Obama is trying to convey!! Once again rasist remarks will bring America to defeat not unite us and during this time of transition in our counrty we all need to stand UNITED not divided...somthing to think about.

OBAMA SUPPORTERS...we must be ever so diligent about pursuing every registered voter we can to get them to the poles on election day. Call your neigbors & friends. Offer voters a ride to the poles. And please be aware that the race card is going to be played and it is going to become ugly. Also, since Obama may very well become our next President, you can count on election and voting fraud to permeate many poles and voting systems. Report everything you witness that may be a violation. Change will take place with your help. IT IS TIME FOR ALL PEOPLE OF COLOR TO UNITE AND SUPPORT THIS PURSUIT TO A VICTORY THAT CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.

I've read the recent comments pertaining to Obama and your impressions and opinion of his vision for "Change". Change doesn't come over night, and change doesn't just happen, but for you unintelligent people who think "Change is not going to happen for our New President Obama you are mentally disfunctional. Obama has proven himself to be the "Best Canidate for President"! You are angry, just like McCain because you are afraid of defeat by a "Highly Intellecutaul, Honest, Loyal, God fearing, Black Man" It terrifies you, it scares you, it humilates you, to know that this nation will have to answer to a man of Color! Your mind set is so simple until it can't behold such Greatness! You are Pathetic!!!!!, along with uneducated, racist, and just merely stupid! If you took the time to read history you would know that Obama wasn't the first Black President elected to run this nation and won.............Trying to help you understand won't do any good because stupidity is defined as lack of not understanding and your intelligence is the size of an ants brain...........That's if they even have one, which says alot about you! So in my closing remarks.....Go Obama, Do your Thing, Make that Change, and bring us into the 21st century with HOPE! Stop the war, and bring our children and loved ones home to us again. Palin made the comment "telling our troops to come home means we are throwing in the white flag" Well little Alaska repub, what do you truly know about surrender, it sounds like that's what your whole campaige needs to do at this point, and open your minds and eyes up to a new world atmosphere called "Change, with a twist of color"!

Obama or McCain. Have enough sense to find out who is telling the truth for yourself. Of course this one will lie about the other, the media does not have time to do your homework. They will only give you 1% of the facts. So take your under-educated self somewhere and look at the facts for yourself. Then and only then can you make an intelligent comment on anything that is worth listening to or reading. Stop all the finger pointing both parties got us in the mess we are in. Until YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THE FACTS, we will vote the wrong person in office. The mess in America is not a quick fix, because if it was then it would be fixed now. I must say that OBAMA has proven to be a great senator and his actions prove he will be the president of good memories. Not like GWB (GW BS my nickname for him)full of family members lives taken for a useless cause. The people complaining about the economy are the ones with sense. Bcs if you have it today it is not promised tommorrow. I have heard many people say neither of the candidates are qualified and I speak out to let them know better. McCain is going to be a PAIN and Obama will bring a CHANGE. Vote for the Change bcs the US has had enough pain.
