I am a Christian who voted for Obama. If you've read the Bible you don't need me to tell you that Jesus cared for the poor, the sick, the outcasts of society. He was criticized for the company he kept: tax collectors, prostitutes, thieves. He said, of the Commandments, "and this, more than all the others: Love thy neighbor as thyself." It pains me to see Christians being manipulated by politicians using issues they think will get those Christians to the polls. If Jesus were here today, it' s hard to think he would see much that looked very Christian in the policies of the administration that brought us Abu Ghraib, and Guantanamo Bay, that lied to get us to go to war, that preached hate and fear instead of unity and tolerance, that shamed us in the eyes of the world with indifference to the poor and the meek in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

I don't think there's ever been more of Jesus in the White House than there will be the day Barack Obama sets foot inside as President of the United States. I am confident that he will act on his conscience, not his cronies, and that he has the humility and empathy that makes him a true Christian and will, God willing, make him a president who can once again make this country stand for integrity, make it a country that will treat its poorest citizens as Jesus would have us do. I know Nancy and other Christians mean well when they rally behind these issues the politicians start shouting about---gay marriage and the like---I can only say that Jesus spent much more time talking about the poor and the downtrodden than he did about people's sex lives. I think for Christians the important thing is to let each leave his own conscience to God and to concentrate on our own responsibility to live Jesus' teachings.

Poor Nancy and anonymous. I feel sorry for you. Your mind is very limited. If you can see past your racial influence and (as a christian) work with your community to make the world a better place for your children and all children there will be less problems to face. But guess what?! Obama is president!!!! Get over it and grow up. God bless America!

As u can see, everybody has an opinon because the U.S. finally has a real life Robin Hood. For years. this country has benefitted from the blood, sweat n tears of the working class, n now somebody thinks we should be able to reap the benefits that the wealthy reap when we pay our taxes. Nobody had any qualms about a rich, by the way, was G.W. Bush a senator, governor, what? By the way I think that was the 1st time an American President has ever been investigated for steroids. (Think Texas Rangers). Go Obama, n us working people, black n white (especially BLACK) will make you proud just like you did when u were voted in to office. Like Sam Cooke said, a change is gonna come.

I have seen this videa and although it is cute to see an atractive black man dancing on TV, let us not forget that he is the most Liberal Senator in Congress and is a hawk on abortion, gay marriage and higher taxes for rich people so that poor black/white people can get a check for basically doing nothing. If that's OK with all you "God" fearing people than that's great! However the God I serve does not like the murder of millions of unborn children just so we can feel better about ourselves and as far as I can see homosexuality is still an abomonation to Him...Barack Obama may be a nice guy and all but certainly not in line with any Christian morality I can find. God help us all if he gets in, it could be the beginning of the end and we "Christians" are voting him in 'cause he is black and cute and talks smooth. Seems to me that Satan comes like an angel of light and so we must line everything up with sound scripture otherwise we can be blinded by that light. God Bless America and we should all pray hard.

Americans who truly know and understand the need for Change will vote for Obama. He has strong family values, understands the need to invest in America by bringing and keeping jobs in this country and his campaign is focused on the ordinary hardworking American. When you listen to Senator Obama speak, he comes across as very genuine- almost to good to be true especially for a politician. This we certainly haven't seen this in a very long time. On Tuesday- Let's all Barock the Vote!
