There are some pluses though -- I don’t look so silly riding my tandem bike, and I can finally use those two-for-one coupons at Hometown Buffet. I also like answering the phone, “DeGeneres-de Rossi residence. To whom may I direct your call?” I’m very formal on the phone.
I’ve got to run now… I’m gonna sneak into the freezer and steal a bite of the top of the wedding cake… don’t tell Portia.
Congrats!! Beautiful pictures! I think the smaller, intimate wedding is so the way to go! You can always celebrate later with everyone but the tenderness of the intimate day show in the beautiful pictures! Can't wait until the new season, we will all see a change in you Ellen, we will all see the glow on the screen!

God,Ellen...Look at the two of you...I think I have never seen a photograph that displayed such geniune,intrinsic love between two people like this one above...It took my breath away.-I guess I have to add that I photograph and hate seing all those incrediably cheasy and fake wedding pictures.This picture of you two brings back my hope in that there caaaan be beautiful wedding photos...
And again,congratulations to the two of you! Dear Ellen and Portia...........
For me it has been 37 years...and it seems like it has only been a couple of days and yet a lifetime.
He leaves the seat up, takes his teeth out when he goes to bed and when he passes gas in bed he pulls the covers over my head and I love him more today than that special day 37 years ago.
I, on the other hand, snore (so he says), weigh more now than then (so he NEVER says) and need his help to fiqure out what the heck is that noise my car is making and he says he loves me more today than those many yesterdays.
To both of you I wish you a lifetime of happiness. You both deserve it!
to Ellen - you are a shining example of "To thine own self be true" and give us all that example five hours a week and I thank you for that!

Hey "Anonymous", what did you have in your coffee today ?! I don´t really understand every sentence, but I noticed that I is bad stuff. I don´t know what your problem is and I think mandy people don´t know.
Where is the problem if people do what they want to and show/share there thoughts and feelings with everybody?
I think every person has the right to do what is on his/her mind. And everybody has the right to find his/her soul mate and to be happy, whatever gay or not and famous or not.
I hope to find my soul mate in the future and I am so happy that Ellen found hers.

*Leigh-My truth is that I think Ellen should have been cut off from TV after all of her antics. I admit I catch her show from time to time, but I honestly get a pit in my stomach when I think of all the harms she has caused to people by acting so carelessly and continuing on like it is nothing. So I shut my TV off and don't watch. To put it in a different light. Like when someone who is abusive. They might act nice 99% of the time but it is that 1% when they don't causes forever damage to the heart and brain. Abusers go on until someone is brave enough to stand up to them, and they refuse to fall victim to their mind-games and charm.
So why am I here? People Magazine and gay relatives. I was curious about how people felt about two women together. I am glad I did because it seems like people are ok with the women together, just a little sick of ellens actions. It might not be a bad idea for ellen to fade away now. good for people posting their ideas here. it is america, and ellen getting her pie and then some. *

I now have to look at your photos everyday so that I can think about how great that must be. I cant even excplain it, but when I saw the pictures and saw that you two were finally married it made my heart fill with love for you two (also felt extreamly jelous). I hope that one day I can have what you two have, and have someone to make my life happy again.
I am only 16 so I havent dated anyone or had any romantic relationships, but as I look at people with things that I wish I could have, it makes me hurt and wonder if I will ever get that too.
I watch people smile as I realize that that is something I have wonted but havnt been able to give for a long time. I watch people hug and wonder why I have no one that really cares for me. I watch people commit suicide and wonder why I cant do that myself even though I want it so bad. I look at people in movies or people on tv and wonder if I can ever be that great.
If you havn't seen "The Brave One" you really need to watch it. Its a really depressing movie that is alot about people becomeing something else entirely. There is a line I love that Jodie Foster says in it that says " There is no going back to that other person, that other place. It is gone. This thing, this stranger, she is all you are now" I listen to her say that over and over again and wonder like she does why I cant be happy and alive like I did before... Why cant I go back!?
So ELLEN(Mrs. Degeneres) People dont become a stranger to yourself, a stranger to your wife... because after you do there is no going back, and the people who once loved you begin to faid away.
There are so many who wish you a happy life with Portia, and I know that you are the one that deserves it more.
Ellen you are great and no matter who said oppisite believe for yourself what is right and wrong. Dont let other people change your mind.
Stay together forever and live life as best as you can... lots of love
