Still Married

Well, it’s been five days… and things are not going well. She squeezes the toothpaste from the top, she hogs all the covers… and someone’s been leaving the seat up. I should’ve thought this through.

There are some pluses though -- I don’t look so silly riding my tandem bike, and I can finally use those two-for-one coupons at Hometown Buffet. I also like answering the phone, “DeGeneres-de Rossi residence. To whom may I direct your call?” I’m very formal on the phone.

I’ve got to run now… I’m gonna sneak into the freezer and steal a bite of the top of the wedding cake… don’t tell Portia.

Congratulations on your marriage. Ellen, I am a huge fan and absolutely love you, your show and everything you stand for in life. Portia - wish we could see more of you. Congratulations to you both!! The way to get over the toothpaste issue is to have separate sinks. It took me 22 years to figure it out - and makes a huge difference in your marriage! I wish you both the very best and a long happy marriage!

Ellen I think you and Portia make a good couple and look beautiful together.I was just reading some comments on the US weekly site with my mom and some of those people there are just plain mean.I felt so angry about their hateful words that i posted myself.I am 12 yrs old and do not understand all this hate,especially from the people that call themselves religious.Those hateful words werent taught to me in my home or my religion..I am glad i dont study that religion. I wish you both so much luck and happiness in your lives...much love to you both....i wish my mom could be happy like you two are....Nathan
