Set your countdown clocks for September 8th, when I kick off Season 6 from my new home on the Warner Bros. studio lot with my very special guest, Michelle Obama! Michelle will be here to discuss her husband Barack’s historic campaign for President. The celebration continues with the hottest band in the world and the only brothers who are more popular than the Warners, The Jonas Brothers, who will perform their newest single "Love Bug" at a special outdoor concert just for me…and 2,000 of my closest friends! This will also be the first time my show is broadcast in High-Definition and you know what that means: HD naked Twister! It's gonna be the sexiest season yet!

Yeah... I saw the commercial and I thought... 12DAYS!! 12 DAYS!!!!... OOOOoooooooooooooooHHHHhhhhhh...rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... AGGgghhhhh!! AGHHhh!!!
I can't wait.... oh its killing me!! But pretty soon before I know it ... it will be 12 seconds to air!!!
I know you know the story El!.. Ellen!... my favorite tv hostest EVER!! You know the story in the bible about David & Goliath! That's an awesome story. I've always liked that 'cause they said.. David.. Ha... what can he do.. he's just a little boy.. and Goliath is a giant... what experience does this little boy have... what makes him think he can do what so many others... grown men with experience.. couldn't even do.. and perhaps many not only failed but possibly died trying.. I forget the details.. did anyone die trying???? I don't remember... but anyway I liken Barak to our David. People say what kind of experience does he have... what can he do. Well Barak has the courage to fight our Goliaths.. our giant struggles of our nation.. and probably our small ones. I think the crowd said.. ok.. let David go.. this will be entertaining.. if he thinks he can get Goliath with his little sling then let him.. he's stupid if he thinks he can do it with that little sling.. and so Dave did.. and he killed Goliath!!! ROAR!!!
What are our Goliaths? Healthcare, energy, war/peace, national debt... the list goes on and ON .. and ON & ON!!! He may lack experience but he has the drive/passion to knock down our Goliaths!!!! We need Barak. I think he can make our Goliaths... our national night mare/hell go away. SAVE US!!!

I am so excited as my husband and I will be in your audience for the taping of your first show!! WOW!! I can't wait!! This trip to see your show is our 36th wedding anniversary celebration and present to each other!! Ellen you are such a wonderful and caring person and bring so much love, laughter and hope into so many of your viewers lives each day! May all of your's and Portia's dreams come true!! Thank God you are almost back !
I have been going through withdrawl,
and this was more difficult to overcome than my drug/ alcohol addiction...(kidding...but not really)
I need my comedy hour once a day or things get a little crazy, and by that i mean i have to resort to watching re-runs of Cheers, (which is still a classic, and very entertaining), but it's just not the same. Much like no name brand ketchup, everyone knows it's not Heinz...
