So many of my dear friends had to hide for so long and it broke my heart, because many times it prevented them from becoming an entire person, like they had a little cloud over their heads. (Do you remember the Al Capp cartoon character in Lil' Abner named Joe Bftsplk? Like him!) Every time I hear "We Kiss in the Shadow" from The King and I, I bawl in sorrow for these shadow-people. They still hide because of hate. Thank you both for deciding to step out of the shadows and let your light shine without fear.
If your relationship has helped but one person to rejoice in the human being that they are, all labels aside, it is one less person that lives in the shadows.

How can I send photos to you? I am 72, went to ER early December, 2007, with severe back pain. They discovered a blood clot on my spine, did surgery and I woke up paralyzed from the waist down. I was in rehab for 100 days, missing my loving Schnauzer, Angel. I am home now with Angel by my side and would love to share pictures with you.

OMG Kym Douglas cracks me up, Im going through whooping cough(it's not just for babies - who new?! not me!! and watching the clips just made me cough whooooop and gasp for air, was well worth it. You should send her over to Edinburgh for the festival, it's full of weird wacky & wonderful people.
