I first saw this "phenomenon" about 20 years ago when I was in elementary school. We called it Oobleck...not sure where the name came from. Sorry Ellen...this is nothing new.
This one isn't a hoax.
The phenomena is a type of viscosity/flow called dilatancy. Wet beach sand at the water's edge does the same thing. As mechanical energy is applied (like mixing or pushing into it), viscosity rapidly increases (rather than decreases as with a gelatinous substance). "Newtonian" substances like water, gasoline, and alcohol actually remain at the same viscosity upon any amount of mechanical energy being applied.
Although I hadn't a vat of cornstarch, I have discovered toyed with it during dinner cleanup (from making gravy)when I was 10 more than 40yrs ago. It was great fun.
As far as your feelings about Hellen is concerned, anyone that believes that personal feelings carries more weight than the constitution, and has as many sheeple as she does, is as dangerous as Osama Bin Laden.
this is a great experiment but i was doing this with my kids 20 years ago........ however not on so large a scale...... we added food coloring for some fun too!!! thanks ellen for some more fun!!
We used to get stoned and mush our hands around in this stuff back in the late sixties/early seventies!
I THINK ELLEN IS SO FUNNY, AND YET SUCH A LOVING SINCERE PERSON. SHE HAS THE CUTEST LOOK IN HER DEVELISH EYES, YES I LOVED THE EXPIERMENT, SO CUTE, SINCE I USE A LOT OF CORNSTARCH FOR COOKING, AND THICKENING FOR PIES AND SUCH, I THOUGHT IT A FUN, AND INTERESTING DEMONSTRATION .

Just got on to look at the video and was reading some of the coments about homosexuality. I was in that life style for 5 years. Then I gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ and was delievered for the desire for the same sex..I didn't have a desire for the other sex either but know I would if the right one came along..I live a full life with out comitting sexual immorality. It is Gods will for you to be with the oposite sex or he would have created one sex and then we would have not been abel to multiply. 2 women and 2 men can not bare children they have to have a man's sperm and a womens egge to have children..where do you think you came from??? So yes it is unnatual and God never intended for the same sex to live as husband and wife..Old and New Testment speak on the subject, but most people don't want to hear the truth so they just exnore it..but you can't change truth, it will always be truth, regardless if you believe it or not...
Thanks for letting me comment on this. I do love Ellen and everyone that is in that live style. My brother included..but it is a choice. God didn't make anyone that way..I know because I looked between my legs and Iam who I am..and God doesn't make mistakes..I choose life, and God..over feelings..Genesis 1:27,28; 2:18-25; Romans 1:1-32.
The passage in Romans doesn't just speak againist unnatural affections, it also talks other sins too, so in Gods eyes we have all sined. None is greater then the other. It talks of slanders, backbitters, coveous and greed, hater of God, etc..There is no degrees of sin. We all have to be born again of the Spirit. Then we become like Him. Through Him is the only way to True peace, love, joy, and all the things we look for in others people that only He can give, then we can give it back to others.
