My fiance and I have a similar Craigslist story. We dated for a couple of years when I was 16 and he was 19. After 11 years, I posted on Craigslist Missed Connections and, long story short, we're back together and happier than we ever thought we could be.

Thanks Craiglist and Thanks Ellen!!

Great to hear your love story!!
My husband and I just celebrated 25 years of marriage 3/30. We also met on an airplane flying from Aspen to Denver. He went went home to Michigan, I went home to Minneapolis,MN. He too, only new my first name and that I worked for a travel agency at that time in Minneapolis. I too, thought about him and wondered. Since 25 years ago there was no such thing as Criaglist, he started calling every travel agency in Minneapolis and asking to talk to Bambi.
Two years later we eloped in Aspen, Co.
Love is grand!

Hi Ellen, I was watching your show today and I have a reunion story for you! I was pre engaged at age 16 (yeah I was young, well we broke up as young people do. After 28 years of being separated my first love(and I was his first love became in touch through class mates.com. I was living in Florida he was still in Rhode Island. We has since then gotten back together and he still had my pre engagement ring after 28 years, We are now engaged to be married(I moved back to Rhode Island). I would never have expected he would still have the ring. I am now 45 and he is 49. Lisa Miller

I have just return from a visit with my aunt in Nevada, My friend invited me to see your show, & being a fan, I drove FIVE HOURS each way from my aunt's house to Burbank.
Now my complaint. I had back surgery in December, & have to wear a back brace for three months so I can heal. Your staff had seated us next to Striker's stand. When I took my jacket off, your staff moved us so that we would not be seen on TV. I was VERY offended by this. You do realize that not just "perfect" people follow you & love your show? Is this a common practice for all shows?
I must say a ten hour car ride was no picnic either with my brace!!
If you could give me your thoughts I would appeciate it (if you even see this).
Still a fan,
Cathy

Craigs list needs more "thumbs up". My bilogical son had been searching for me for a few years, posting on every site he could think of. On February 11th, he posted on Craigs list, and on Valentines Day, I got the news from family members that he was searching for me. We have been emailing every day since, and although we are miles apart, we are saving for a reunion soon!
Congratulations Dan and Amy!

Hi, I was on your show for this interview. I had an awesome time. You are truly genuine and what you see is what you get. You are a classy lady which I knew from when I watched you on your first sit-com. I bought a lot of your ELLEN items and will wear them with pride that I was there. My sons' girlfriends attended the show with me and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They will wear their ELLEN shirts with lots of great memories.
We left a few gift items for you from CANADA. My friend who is a huge ELLEN fan knit you a one of a kind scarf. It is unique just like you. She is an awesome lady and has helped me through a lot of rough times. She knits love into all the scarves she makes. Friends are always special. Thanks for the opportunity to be part of a great experience - one of my best so far in 2008. A loyal fan - LORNA STEVENS

Dear Ellen,

My 88 year old father lives with us. When I am at work, I am careful to call him everyday at 2:55 to tell him that Ellen is about to come on. It is the highlight of his long day alone. The next few weeks I will be at home due to a wrist injury and will be able to watch with him. Keep up the good work or keeping smiles on America's faces.

Hi Ellen,
My wife and I met when we were 18 years old. She was a friend of my brother's and had invited him to a party at her brother's house in the country. I had no plans for that weekend so they invited me to go as well.
After getting to the party I had a chance to get aquainted with Robyn and spent most of the night talking to her.
I was instantly infatuated with her and could think of little else in the days to follow.
I kept asking my brother about her. Had he seen or heard from her lately, etc?
She came to town one night about a week later and told my brother she would be at her brother's the next night (Saturday) and wanted him to bring me out there. We went and I knew by the time we left that I loved her and wanted to be with her forever!
That would be the last time I would see her for 5 years. She got busy with life where she lived had a few personal problems and didn't know how I felt about her.
When I did finally run into her again, we had both gotten married and had children. She had 3 and I had 4 with one on the way.
We became best friends and our families got together for weekend outings.
After a couple of years or lives went in different directions again and my heart broke all over.
A couple of years later, we both went through divorces at the same time, neither knowing that the other was getting divorced.
I was living in Missouri by this time and my Mom, who lived in Illinois called me to tell me "You wont believe who I ran into today." She saw Robyn in a gas station, was talking to her and got her phone number for me.
I called her that night and went to see her that weekend. That was May of 1995. We were married in July of 1995. We had a son in November of 1996.
True love will always stand the test of time. It took us ten years to get it right, but here we are 13 years later, still together and still very much in Love!
