We Are Experiencing Technical Difficulties...

Occasionally, something on our show goes slightly wrong. Usually, we edit it out and you at home never know it happened. But sometimes it's kind of funny and we think you might want to see it. Watch what happens when Drew Carey's mic falls off during his interview.

Dear Ellen,

When I grow up I want to be just like Gladys Hardy !!! I'm 58 so I have a few years to go..

Thanks for being so nice to people..you make my day every day..

D

Dear Ellen,

I absolutely love you and your show. It is so much fun watching you. I was watching the segment where you had the four ladies driving cross country to your show and they were stopped for lunch, with the old truck in the background. Well, every time they laughed it reminded me of a "Funniest Home Video" I saw where there were quadruplets laying around their mother, the father making them laugh. It might be fun if you compare the two giggling foursomes.

So sorry I forgot to sign my name to the last posting about the 14 year old boy.
Marianne

Hi Ellen, This is there is a 14 year old boy in Hillsdale, MI who is dying of brain cancer, all he has asked for is a fort. My parents have been part of the group trying to get this done for this young man; it doesn't look like it is going to happen. The logs are extremely heavy and they do not have enough money for a crane. This is through the Sugarbush Campground in Hillsdale. Please contact them. They do not know that I have contacted anybody, so I am taking full responsibility. My mom was telling me this the other day and it broke my heart. Please help to give this young man his only wish. Thanks for your consideration.

Ellen Degeneres:
I saw your show before with Ashton Kusher,
Gavin Degraw, and Kenzie Mataldo.
(Spelled correct)
I like Ashton Kusher. I liked Gavin Degraw's singing, but I was really touched by Kenzie's story.
A friend was into see me but I still had to see your show.
I walk with crutches and leg braces. I use a scooter and wheel chair. I had Polio when I was 2. I people staring at you and they do not understand. But this young lady's presence and courage really touched me.

I was crying the last time I saw this show, and I am a little emotional today.
That was a very good show, and I really enjoyed it.
She went to Country Music Awards on May 18.
That was nice when you spoke to Kenny Chesney.

A very good show.

Thank you.

A Fan,

We LOVE you here in Ohio, we are so proud of you that you carry our GREAT Cleveland name everywhere you go.
It truly shows that you LOVE your home town, and we truly appreciate the wonderful things that you promote about our home town of Cleveland, Ohio. My husband and I grew up in Cleveland too, from 1952 through 1978. We still live in the area, only 25 miles west of Cleveland. We would love to meet you in person someday soon and talk about the good old days like Birney Kosar of the Cleveland Browns, remember those good old days.

We know you will succeed in everything you do, because you are from good ole Cleveland.

The Author was Wayne Dyer and one of the books that was mentioned was "Theres a Spiritual Solution to every problem"
I just read it from the first comment on the page :)

Hey! Drew mentioned an inspirational author that Ellen also seemed to be familiar with. Anyone catch the name of the author and/or the books? Thanks!

I think you should have left that in for the show it would have been great. Keep up the good humor ellen you are the best.

Hey Ellen -

Just wanted to let you know how much fun it is to watch your show every day. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and there are lots of Ellen fans here. You'll have to visit some time. You'll fall in love with the place, just like I did when I moved here 33 years ago. I'm originally from Toronto, Ontario.

Keep up the great work. You keep us all smiling!!

Hi Ellen,

I am writing from "Australia" and due to your move to Warner Bros we have not been getting your shows, I contacted Foxtel and they could not tell me when your show was back on the air in Australia everyone has been contacting Fox to find out what is happening with Arena, "they could not tell me". I tried to contact Arena direct through our Telephone service and the number they gave was the telephone number for Arena Swimwear and the girl told me that she has had so many calls looking for Arena TV station

I did try to write on your email address but unforunately in Australia we do not have a zip code and it was only for American cities, why not have a web site so your fans here can write.

Also next year we are coming to America for a holiday and would love to come and see your show, my sister and her friends are all avid fans

I love your show and your humour, thanks for making me laugh , sometimes I need that.

Hi Ellen--Love you, Love your show-I'm looking for video of Charlie bit me. Can anyone help?

I was reading the comments that were posted and was wandering the same thing about the author and books that Drew Carey mentioned.

Thanks

This message is to Rose. She is the one who said she wasn't "sold" on Ellen's comedy or even on Ellen herself.

What that H E double toothpicks?? How dare you say that to someone? You're not sold on her?

I think that says much more about you than it does about anyone else.

Ellen is thee best. Classic. UP there with Lucy and Johnny Carson.

Hi Ellen!

I wasn't sold on you or your comedy until just recently when I noticed the sincerety of your being. It's all in your eyes and your smile. Many entertainers give back to their audiences through gift-giving, prize-winning and charity; however, there is something very special and true about what you do for others.

Anyhow, you captured my attention through your concern for others and the joy you seem to give so freely to the many and more importantly the few.

Thank you for keeping it real and providing a good example to your public audience. The entertainment world needs more of what you have to offer and less of those who have hidden motives.

From one old soul with a big heart to another!

Rose

ellen...i read all of these comments and realized there really isnt much more to say...i hope that it makes you happy to know how much joy you bring to so many peoples lives for that little bit of time every day. it's like having an entire hour every afternoon when there is no time to worry or think about anything else going on in the world. thank you.
