El Superintendente de la Policía, Pedro Toledo, aseguró ayer que llevará el caso de Miss Puerto Rico Universe “hasta las últimas consecuencias”, luego de que el vestido de la reina diera negativo a las pruebas químicas para “gas pimienta”.

“Esta investigación no termina aquí, vamos a ver todos los ángulos incluyendo la posibilidad de que se diera información falsa, porque no voy a permitir que se utilice a la Policía para efectos publicitarios”, declaró Toledo luego de que el director ejecutivo del Instituto de Ciencias Forenses (ICF), José Francisco Rodríguez Orengo certificara que el vestido y la brocha para aplicar maquillaje que Ingrid utilizó el día del certamen dieron negativo a casaycina, un químico componente del “pepper spray”.

El jefe de la Policía no dijo si había algún sospechoso en el caso, pues señaló sería “caer en especulaciones”, pero reiteró que ofrecer información falsa a las autoridades policíacas se considera un delito.

According to the local PR news and after conducting a police investigation, it turns out that there was no pepper spray found in her make up or dress. There were no traces of pepper spray found. She must have had an allergic reaction to something or it was a nervous reaction. I think the pageant oficials should have waited for the results before making those allegations which turned out to be unfounded. For months everyone knew Ingrid was going to win the competition. They made a fool of all the girls who competed in the pageant and then accused them of foul play and jealousy.

I find it difficult to comment on anyone else in life because then it kind of gives them permission to comment on me, but I am gonna try real hard. So what!!!! I feel the same about this as i do about Mr. clinton getting a bj while president. I do not care people have sex, yes it was not with his wife, but as president he rocked.
Ms. puerto rico has won more contests than me and i of course think you are the world, so if she is on your show, she can"t be that bad.

Ellen it is time we spoke of something more serious and here is why. A few months ago you spoke of bad car buying experiences.
I did not go into great detail the first time I e-mailed yu, however i have decided the world should know of it.
I am 42 years old, and my whole life have wanted a jeep rubicon. FYI a jeep rubicon is a special order item, you cannot buy it on the lot it is built to the customers expectations,ooooooooooh,
and actually states on the sticker "this jeep built especially for --------," of course you insert your name. Well this dream of mine was not just crushed, I was so insulted from the time the vehicle arrived at the dealership, but was told they wish they had never sold the jeep to me.
After payting 30'000.00 for this jeep. i was never shown anything about how it worked, all of the regular courtesy was dismissed. Here is what I think was the reason.The vehicle had to be ordered under my boyfriends name, because it was his employer that gave him a discount on the vehicle.For some reason that apparently in hind sight seemed to offend the loan/financer chick.
she had insulted me directly by saying I should be gratefull that i must speak for my boyfriend. When first of all it is none of her business that his name is on the jeep it is my money but it has to be in his name. this employee, spoke to me as if I wer some hooker and this was some sort of gift.Weeeelllllllllllllll, I was pissed. When I told the dealership to kiss my butt they said, "well good luck getting another one, they are on backorder, and you won't get one for another 6 months. So i felt blackmailed, because again I have waited my whole life for this one thing. When I did call again to complain to the manager, and the owner, guess wahat they were rude insensitive, callous, and flat out said "We wish we had never delivered the vehicle to you".
Most of the options are still unknown to me, I wish I would Have Had the nads to not take the jeep, but again a lifelong dream,42 years, crushed by a couple of selfish, cold, dense, poopy pants wearing, flat out, no plans on a friday night, nose picking, bag over your face wearing, un-huggable meannies.!!!!!
If anyone could understand my pain it is you Ellen.
I think you are the best thing since sliced bread, You make me laugh when I want to cry.

I apologize on behalf of all true native Puerto Ricans from PR with relation to the messages posted here. It appears we still have non-open minded people all around the world who interpret certain behavior and actions as "ridiculous and offensive". I see absolutely nothing wrong with how the show developed and the fun parts of it. I did not see anything offensive or diminishing on Ellen's part. I want to thank Ellen for the opportunity to show the world the beauty of PR through Ingrid and want to thank Ingrid for being just her. Way to go both of you.

She had the woman on to talk to her about what happened and to make light of the situation. You people are blowing this whole thing waaaaay out of proportion. She said she'd like to see her become Miss Universe why would she have her on the show and say if she was going to humilate her? That makes no sense. Shut up about it already. You're taking a joke and making something out of it that isn't there.
