In one way i get upset about everything that people are saying about Ingrid and in another way is a way to make people like me realize that she dosen't need to win the Miss Universe Crown because she is the most beautiful talked about model ever. It wasn't necessary to laugh about the terrible experience she went through in the show. Ingrid you deserve that crown. Never loose hope because you are the perfect candidate to represent Puerto Rico. Show the strength of a Puerto Rican women. Forget about all those jelous people. Keep your head up and smile beside all the horrible things that happen to you always tell yourself that this is your moment make this moment special and learn something from it. Miss Puerto Rico is very beautiful and deserving of her title. I don't believe that she would do that to her own clothes and wear them and let them irritate her skin purposefully! That's crazy for anyone to suggest!

She is a great sport and a great personality, she will be in the finalists at least for Miss Universe, I think!

Hi Ellen! Whuuuuuuuuuuut?! I'm still wondering if hitting a bottle on the head does not hurt. lol. Look like Ms. Puerto Rico had fun (I mean just kept her poise) and didn't even get a scratch from that. Is it true then that a bottle is better than a dress or gown? The evening gown gave Ms. PR an itch and rash. Also, I remember you dare and hit Sandra Bullock on the head in the show. And it looks like it didn't hurt. How could that be? Lol. Should I try it myself? Just kidding. :P

This is in response to people’s reaction concerning the results revealed as a consequence of the tests conducted in PR to determine whether or not Ingrid’s dress and other belongings had been contaminated, if you will, with pepper spray.

The reliability and capability of PR Forensic Science Department, and its personnel to investigate this incident, is questionable. That dress and other belongings needed to be shipped immediately to a viable source in EU, so that experts were able to test the items for any chemical and non-chemical substances. Please note that environmental components and other factors may have jeopardized the results of the test, thus causing a negative result of “pepper spray”.

Nevertheless, let’s consider another possibility, which may have taken place during the contest. As all of you know, PR is a tropical island which produces many fruits, plants, herbs, etc. Many of the residents of the island and native Puerto Ricans that reside in the rural areas and the mountains are aware of a plant that produces a seed call “Pica Pica”. The seeds have multiple miniscule “hairs”, which are almost invisible. Those hairs, when making contact with the human body, produce an allergic reaction, and in some people produce boils, sting sensation, and extreme skin irritation. As the skin gets scratched or stimulated, the irritation becomes worse, almost unbearable.

Herbs and plants are usually found in rural areas of PR. It is rare and almost impossible to locate this plant in the city. Now if you are a good investigator and think outside the box for a moment, and are a good judge or character, you will rule out any involvement on the contestants that reside in the city. However, you will look closely at one or two of the contestants that reside in the rural areas that may have been involved directly or indirectly with the attempt to sabotage Ingrid’s opportunity to become Miss PR Universe 2008. There is no need to mention names of contestants or names of towns either; just look closely at the pictures of the Miss PR contestants. You will come up with your conclusion.

In fact, the lesson is one and only one. Evil will never prevail. There are some rules in life; cause and effect. Sometimes we can be victims of evil and wicked hearts, but our souls cannot be touched and our destiny cannot be jeopardized as long as we keep fighting for our dreams, regardless of the hurdles and storms we may encounter in our journey.
